Everything is true. With 100000 gross u will only get 40000 in hand (45% will go for income tax and 14% for National Insurance contribution). You will have a separate payment of around 4% for council tax
There is something called tax slabs. You pay nothing till 12500, you pay 20% till 50K or something, then you pay 40% above 50K.
bro you pay nothing and less tax till 50k is scam. council tax is additional, vat is 20% now imagine how much taxed income ur paying to this. imagine 200 pound council tax that means u need 240 gross salary to pay this per month and yearly 2880 gross salary. same goes for vat and fuel. gandhi before independence thought why tax on salt and went on strike. if he sees this he will jump from london bridge.

You should give 1-1.5 months time for your visa from the date you want to come. I would say if you have all the documents prepared then you can apply in mid july to make sure everything will be on time.

Guys dont do this, things have changed every where after covid, but UK IS NOT BAD , mai 24 saal say reh rahi hu and I am from India.. yeh sab deductions hai kyuki UK is the only country which is maximum benaffited country.. here you have free education, your medical is free. Tumhara garbage uthanay walay tak free hai..student loan you get the very first day you land in this country which is £8k.... you dont seem to be happy here you shld go back.. and this is not true kee jo bhi aayega usko kamana padega. You can get your taxes back.. sorry to say that you sont know much... daal roti kay liye matt raho.. india jaao wapas wahaa shanta bai bhi milaygi, shahi paani bhi milegaa.. jis bhi jagah kaa naam liya hai abhi tak wo sab jagah waise hee hai jaisay india mai bahut see jagah hai.. dont say kee chacha , mama maa sab ko kaam karna padega.. strange you are just doing all this to make money feom you tube. STOP IT and for anybody who wants to come to UK apply ... there are plenty of jobs available infact UK stopped work permits 15 years back and have now again started.. now employers directly buy work permits and issues them.. no knowledge is worse then little. There are so many students here ans they all are working, isnt it good to see them making money working part time and supporting themselves.

I am also from Delhi, I came here last year & I totally agree with what these people are saying, I’ve had an incident wherein someone smashed our car parked outside our house & when called the police they asked to provide the cctv & give the details who did it, it’s crazy that they don’t do any investigation from their side & literally nothing happened. We know it was our Romanian neighbour coz he did it with others living around as well. I feel these people here are mentally sick but roaming freely here.

We had a word with people who even came 6-7 years or people who came here 20 years back they all say things have changed. If you have lived in delhi you might have observed the difference if not then you can’t even compare. I believe that this makes a stress in a mind of person who is planning to the UK but it’s better to always warn. We never say don’t come we just ask them to keep these factors in mind.

@@TheShivamOberoi we got our visa yesterday. I have been researching about the UK for the last 2 months constantly, i found only you guys, who are portraying a negative picture of uk. This kind of pissed me off.. Because here in india i have done masters and working as an office administrator for 3 years, do you know what my wage is 10 k per month and my wife has done graduation and currently working as a teacher and a private tutor and her wage is literally 5500 rs.per month... Can you imagine that.
Lets talk on this.... Thoroughly so take we can reach on a progressive conclusion....... If we get their and starts working in the odd jobs.... And can save 50 pounds both 100 pounds as you said... It is higher then here in india.

We have a couple friend in Birmingham they are saying that come to us. But from Birmingham lincoln is about 156 miles i think... What is your advice on this ??? I don't think this is a good idea as public transport is so so costly in Birmingham as i studies about Birmingham. I am thinking to stay in lincoln. If i do so then what will be pros and cons according to you.
I would say complete your study for the time being and move to birmingham. If you both find good opportunities which is quite difficult as it is just a small town but if you get something close then its good else you can move to birmingham. All it depends on classes of your wife as well.
