Not only is she always doing things a specific way and suddenly realises she can do beautiful things in a whole new style.
Also she has been stuck with a specific beauty canon, this is represented by the European roses. How many Latin American girls dont feel beautiful because they do not adjust to western beauty canons?
When she realises she and her creations can be beautiful in her own way, she starts growing autoctonous plants from Colombia, like beautiful jacarandas, tall and powerful palma de cera, cacti, tabebuia, strong hanging vines, dangerous sundew and strangling figs.
Because you don't have to be a perfect European pink princess to be beautiful !

U totally missed it she's talking about how she doesn't want to be perfect just be who she wants to be and not become something society has told her to do
I love the lyrics of this song best as she is freed by her sister and when Mirabel realises just how much her sister is hurting she shows her support halfway through the song. It is best stated by her line of "What could I do if I knew it didn't need to be perfect? It just needed to be!" It is beautiful to see Isabella break free of her constricting mould that abuela and others put her in. 16 years of having to be perfect is not good for you.
