Mohamed Aissa (The following is a personal view of this years open ceremony) I think it's kind of bad or if u want to say boring this year xd very first thing we all should notice that the stage isn't as big as 2017 n 2018s stage. I love Phoenix but all the other songs are just too quiet it doesn't really fit the leagues style and the strong feeling when u listen to it.
@@uniquerod52 The venue was a tricky one, the weather at the time was not suitable for an open top stadium since it was autumn/winter and unlike in Asia where it's warmer. People would be in an open top stadium in Paris freezing with the chance of rain. They also had to find a big enough indoor stadium that was available for the time. They found AccorHotels Arena and that must of been the most suitable stadium that could be booked at the time.
2:53 i loved seeing how the teams remained perfectly positioned there while the music rolled, if i was there i would definitely be dancing or singing along to this song

The singing was really good however i dont think that the audio was balanced well enough in the live performance since they sounded a bit bland, also they couldve been louder
They literally had the full audio playing from the original song (at least as soon as Chrissy's part came up) and her voice was way too quiet to even say that she did 'amazing'. They basically sang on top of the studio version. The other girl's voice was louder, so Riot probably knew they couldnt turn Chrissy's voice up that high after her legends never die performance...not trying to be mean, that's just my impression

Oh boy. There's obviously the studio version being played silently in the background. That's how almost 95% of live performances are done. But you can tell when she goes "well kid" that she is singing and so is the other chick. Her voice is just higher pitched so the lower tone takes away from it. This is 100% live with an obvious studio version playing with it
The lyrics for Phoenix mean so much to me on a personal level. If I was in tears just watching the live performance on stream, I can't imagine how much of a mess I'd be if I was actually there with the energy of the crowd around me.
I work with stuff like that, it's so fun for me to notice every colored dot and arrow on the stage that signals the performers where they have to stop for the effects to work, and supposedly the different colors means the song for what those position were meant. In fact I think that Cailin missed her correct spot at 0:45 and was supposed to appear where the Hologram was, with Chrissy Costanza appearing in her previous position (or to Chrissy to appear in the hologram, standing both on the sides of the fluxes on bottom, join in the center and then switch back to the position they were during the Irelia blade dance)
Chrissy voice is awesome, beautiful and 90 degree bend shows her own style on the stage. That's why alan and riot game chooses to sing. She sings like a shining star.
