The 2018-2022 the 10th gen accords are awesome I agree Toyota wins in the new generation. Accord try to do too much, they should have taken this concept and made it a different model. Toyota has
      Camry
      Corolla
      Avalon
      Honda has
      Civic
      Accord

If you own or thinking about purchasing a 2023 or 2024 11th generation Honda Accord...Beware.
The gas line, brake lines and evap lines are plastic and are not fully protected by Sheilds, Guards.
These cars have about a 14 inch section were these lines are exposed to road hazards. I had something hit these pipes, one was cut almost completely through, others severely damaged. The repair bill at the Honda dealership is over $7,000.00. I reported this to American Honda as I feel this could have been prevented had lines been metal or at minimum run behind a protective cover.
These undercarriage on these cars are almost completely covered by shields, guards, you even have to remove the skid plate to change oil, filter but Honda decides to leave this section of crucial pipes non protected from road hazards. Honda has refused to take any responsibility for not providing a guard which would prevented such damage. I could have lost my brakes and or a fire started due to damage occurring.

This has been a battle that’s been going on for over 2 decades. 😜 I’ve owned 2 Hondas and an Acura(temp) have owned a Lexus and a currently have a Camry. I have to say I like the quality of Toyota products better. However I’m disappointed that the v6 option has dropped. But then again it’s not like I’m buying a new car as often as people buy new iPhones. 😜😜😜

Toyota hasn't solved their oil consumption issues that started in the early 2000s. The Hondas K20 is a proven engine, probably the most desirable 4 cylinder in general next to a K24. The Mitsubishi 4G63 can handle lots of boost, but it makes less horsepower than a K20 at the same given boost, so mod for mod it always loses. Personally I wouldn't have either one in a hybrid. You'll be lucky if the battery lasts 10 years, then by that time the cost to replace it exceeds the value of the vehicle. You'd have to be pretty stupid to buy a hybrid with the intent to keep it foreseeably. Then again some people believe they're going to own a single tesla for the rest of their lives, so critical thinking isn't our strongsuit as a society
