If you had dismal failures you should think of that as a wonderful thing. It means you have a game that is giving you the opportunity to explore and learn how to develop a strategy. Far better situation than having a game that is too easy.
Just played my first game of the 7th citadel yesterday. It's awesome!! Love this game one of the best solo experience I've had so far and that's a lot!
Another great video. My best takeaway was #10: "Don't Trust the Map". I also commented on your other 7th Citadel video this morning, but I watched that one on BGG where I use the name Jimmy Pattaya (Esto).
Thanks Jimmy! We spent one session going crazy looking for a road on the map that no longer existed. It's actually more fun this way, to think that the map used to be valid but is now unreliable.
Thanks for the tips Jesse, can’t wait to get started (even without a Jonathan). Also thanks for using the same sound effect when the banners appear, as my doorbell camera when it detects movement 😂
Thank you. After being a dismal failure twice I think your videos are going to help me progress a bit further in the future.

RUclips used to give my real name. I didn't realize that it had changed. Sorry to confuse you.

just be thankful you don't have one of those parrots that constantly recreates sounds of doorbells and telephones.
