    Congrats on second place. Brett's car is fast but lunds is factory ecm tcm and factory equipped trans.
    The fact you made Brett swing for the fences is wild. What's even cooler is 3 coyotes were in the final 4.

    This is why we watch.. no matter what, you always throw in some quality knowledge for people to learn from your mistakes, instead of having to learn it themselves through trial, error, and pockets full of cash.. Great Job Guys.. IMO.. Not taking anything away from Brett, but you both won that day.. Y'all don't sit the same, and its not for reasons of money or knowledge, its to stay in your lane.. Congrats again!!

    You guys should be very proud of what you've accomplished over at Lund racing.. people don't understand that this car utilizes a factory ecu and still uses the 6r80/ 4r200 hub its truly mind blowing..

    I’m running an allstar catch can on my gt500. I have the can mounted on the pax side rain tray fire wall with -8 lines. Instead of the standard filter vent, I welded a -16 AN bung to the top and ran a 1” “vent” line to the back of the car. Wanted to eliminate having to run 2 more -10 lines under the car as well as eliminate the noxious smell running into the cabin. As long as it’s up kept on draining, I don’t see any fluids come out of the tube, I installed a small specter filter at the end of the tube so it’s not wide open. Food for thought since you have a similar catchcan on your gt500.
    Built 5.4, whipple 3.0, 26psi on e85.

    • @mach183
      @mach183 6 месяцев назад +1

      Awesome …: the 5.4 get no credit for what they can do … I’ve always like cast iron over aluminum I’ll take the reliability over weight anyday . Not saying my 14 gt500 is a bad motor it’s arguably the best but cast iron for the win on big builds … what year Shelby ????

    • @kilometers1115
      @kilometers1115 6 месяцев назад

      @@mach183 it’s a 2011, so aluminum block. I definitely like the larger cylinder wall thickness as I plan on getting it sleeved, as of now it’s a rods pistons motor with NSR cams. Pretty simple set up but is pretty fast. I have a spare 5.4 bullet that’s going to get all the sauce but for now trying to get this combo in the low 9s high 8s

    • @mach183
      @mach183 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@kilometers1115 wow I feel so dumb !!!! I forgot the 2011 made the 5.4 aluminum… that’s just as good .. like you said way more thickness compared to the 5.8
      Awesome build my friend simple yes but violent !!! What’s your TQ ? People sleep on the NSR cams but that’s all you need !!! Good power and better drivability … I’m assuming there l and m ?

    • @kilometers1115
      @kilometers1115 6 месяцев назад

      @@mach183 yes l&m NSRs, they flow a little better than the stock 2011 cams. Dunno torque numbers but I’d guess probably 850-900 range. 9.7:1 compression so nothing too radical, my other bullet will have 12:1 comp. Car drives like stock. Should have an 8 in it if I can get 60ft dialed.

    You said they use a 275 tire on the Grey Goose? I can't believe that's enough tire for that much power. Its not stupid if it works, I guess.

    • @CoyoteAUS
      @CoyoteAUS 6 месяцев назад

    • @kilometers1115

      Suspension plays a huge factor in running such a small tire. The car literally forces it into submission by seperating the body from the rear end driving the tire into the track.

      @@CoyoteAUSI had a 18GT that was cammed with LT's, and it wouldn't hook in 1st gear at all. My Current F150 5.0 will only hook in 1st if I'm in 4H. Both are NA, F150 is stock. For some reason the 18 GT didn't have paddle shifters at all. There wasn't even a place on the steering wheel for where they should have been, like they were deleted from the factory, so a 2nd gear leave was never an option. At 700HP traction is going to be a bit worse.
