Other celebrities around the world will be flauting with their partners on the red carpet, tv ads and Instagram while kpop idols sneaking around for dates afraid to be caught and create a "scandal". Never knew falling in love could end someone's hard-worked career before kpop.😑
You cant call yourself a fan if you cant see them enjoying one of the most basic things in life...companionship. I think still a few fandoms have mellowed down but entertainment companies don't want to risk it. I'd totally want them to date, marry, settle, procreate and still love them and their performances. Imagine being against something that will lead to mini versions of your idols. Ugh.
We have the opposite with western celebrities- constantly doing disgusting stuff like sex before marriage and spreading around STDs ( I won't name anyone in particular) , but South Korea is on the opposite extreme where even married people get hate. There needs to be balance.
