Love that this is wheelchair/walker accessible. The only thing I would change is to bring the shower hardware lower so it can be reached from a sitting position. Great little house...
I was thinking the same thing. They need to install the shower head with separate handheld on a sliding bar. If you're going to make it accessible for disabled people then do it all the way.
@@IceLynne Yes. My father recently had his shower updated as a roll in and they put the hardware on the side wall, right beside the shower seat, It made a world of difference for him.
This is probably the most beautiful and practical tiny home you've every shown. The soaring ceilings, beautiful windows, and place for a real table is perfect. I love the openness. The loft is great for storage and a guest bed. And it's the perfect home for aging in place and telework. The only thing i could wish for is space for a queen bed in the bedroom.
@@johnatyoutube Thanks! I am so glad that you actually understood what I said! Didn't realize how auto correct - didn't!! I generally catch my mistakes! Another idea maybe to shorten the deck from 10' to 8', giving an additional 2' to maybe add to the bedroom. This company does such amazing work. I may not ever live in a tiny home, but I am working on living that way. Enjoy your day!!!
@@donnabacon4681 The outside footage cannot be incorporated as the max sq. ft. is 399. Any more space makes the "tiny home" a single wide or single section. RRC sells those and bigger homes also and if you need more space look into one of those. Ironically, they are 600-1000 sq. ft. but not that much more expensive.
I like that this model offers easy wheelchair accessibility. That's a definite plus. All of the design cues are wonderful, loft, shower and bedroom built ins 👌🏾
My favorite thing about this home is the wide doorways. No worries about bumping my shoulders against the doorjambs as I'm going from one room to another. And it's obviously great for people who use a wheelchair or a walker. I'm pleasantly surprised at the size of the bathroom. It doesn't look the least bit claustrophobic or cramped, and I like the height in the shower. The dining space in the Lark is always a nice perk, and I like the placement of those windows next to it. The exterior of the home is one of the nicest I've seen from RRC. I think that's pretty much what I would want my home's exterior to look like. The loft is simple and classy. No complaints there. My one and only criticism of the home is that there's only enough width for a full-sized bed in the bedroom. I know the built-ins would have to be smaller to compensate, but I really think the bedroom needs the space for a queen-sized bed. Sacrifices obviously had to be made somewhere, and I'm okay with the bedroom being smaller than average for one of these tiny homes. But not having that small amount of extra space for accommodating a queen-sized bed hurts it in my opinion. But to end on a positive note, I appreciate that the loft ends where the bedroom begins. The bedroom may not have much space in length and width, but the height makes it feel more open.
Speaking as a tall person, I agree that the bedroom needs to accommodate a queen sized bed as well as closet space. I can't sleep on a full... too short.
@@susanbeals7597 I agree. I'm too tall for a full as well. As for closet space, the problem is that the stairs to the loft are taking up the space that would have been devoted to a bedroom closet. It's a trade-off. You either have the loft (which obviously has a good amount of storage) and very little storage in the bedroom OR no loft and an actual closet in the bedroom.
@@InJeffable - Yes, but why didn't they use the space under the stairs? Could have built in drawers at the low end and a closet under the top of the stairs on the bedroom side. Maybe the house needs to be 2 feet longer.
@@susanbeals7597 You raise a good point, but my guess is that the large bathroom prevented them from doing it that way. I remember that in a different Lark where they had a similar bathroom with a 60-inch roll-in shower, the water heater ended up being moved to the bedroom closet (where it took up a lot of the closet's usable space). My guess is that the water heater in this model ended up being placed under the stairs. And unfortunately, the house can't be 2 feet longer without it going over that 399 sq. ft. limit. If you're going to make it bigger, you may as well go all the way to a small single section at 600+ sq. ft.
This is clearly my favorite tiny home so far. I love the loft in the center, it makes the house feel roomy. The only thing missing is a bathtub, I am one for taking long baths... Well done!
They now make a bathtub that you can sit in, from a wheelchair, then raise the door up to have a sit in bathtub. Perhaps if one bought that tub, it could be installed in place of the standard shower, and still have them install both the grab bars on the surrounding walls.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great model Mr. Tiny. My favorite item was placing the loft in the middle of the home, in order to maintain high ceilings in Primary bedroom & living room. Stay Safe & Healthy... Abrazos
The Lark is perfect for my disabled son and me. The only thing I'd change is the storage space in the bedroom. I'd have them moved to the other wall and use one for a storage for the mop and cleaning supplies. Love the features!
Thank you for the video. This is the first home designed for someone needing a wheelchair. Bravo! I liked the house. At my age, I’m not a fan of the loft. The living area looked larger for some reason. The dining area is a plus. Great job, as always!

Mr. Tiny, you hit it out of the park with this one! It's my favorite one to date that you've shared with us. I'd only need a few minor changes to make it perfect for me.💜
Someone in a wheelchair would have no use for the loft. I love the colors used on the outside and the builtins in the bedroom. I would put a built-in booth in the kitchen--the table takes too much space, and I would eliminate the lower windows in the living room by the built-in and put in a fireplace. I would screen -in the porch and get rid of the outside glass door in the bedroom unless I wanted another porch. Lots of fun playing with the design in this one. Thanks Mr. Tiny
Love a red door and love the blue and so quiet when you come in. Like the gray cabinets and rails. Also like the stove is not right next to fridge a little counter space between them. Would need a raised seat toilet in case one became disabled. Do like the bars in shower and folding seat … thinking ahead if become disabled as one gets older. Just need a queen size bed space.

Hey Mr. Tiny. Like the 36” doorways for accessibility. The bars and bench seat a plus in the shower. The hand novel needs to be lower if the person cannot completely stand. Love it but I would get rid of the Loft and Use that Extra Square Footage to make it Wider from 11ft to 15ft giving the Bedroom a Little more Space as well as the Living Room and Dinning Area a Little bit more Room as well and Yes I would have to have a Dishwasher if you need Storage Space a Half Loft in Center would do well.
Great home! I love the wide hallway, doorways, and wheelchair/walker accessibility. Lower the fixtures in the shower and it would be perfect. I wish the living room was a bit bigger, but I like the kitchen very much. I would rather have one large closet in the bedroom and a door isn't necessary IMO. I wish the porch could be screened in for more living space. Love the exterior colors, and would enjoy a little pop of that red inside as well!

Once again Mr Tinyiny has presented a great home. Mr Tiny I hope you continues to make these great videos & I'm really looking forward to meeting you in 3 years when I retire so I can purchase a home from your company.
Mr Tiny, Not all people use a Oven. It would be welcome just a counter top stove. or if you need a Oven Convection / Microwave. Love your Videos, I owned a 38ft Diesel Pusher , And now Tiny Homes are worth every penny.
My favorite line "like it never happened!' too funny....saw it in a previous video as well with hiding electrical sockets with a painting or tapestry or similar. I think that's what it was. A lot of hard work you put into all this. If I ever make it to house ownership land, I'll look you up. I do know someone in Houston and Austin, so there's a chance it could happen that I'm shipped on out to Texas.
I know that this is a tiny home but, if I could raise the ceiling, I would turn the loft into an office and exercise area. That would be a dream if I live alone.
Wow! I love the rollin shower with the bench, yes those are my favorite features. Also the wide doors and the kitchen setup. Thank you 🙏🏽. Be blessed and be safe
I also love this accessible Tiny Home! One thing that sets it apart from others is that the stairs to the loft are back by the bedroom, not in the living/dining area. I wish the stairs had sturdy rails on both sides. I would be willing to give up the lower cabinet to the left of the sink to get a dishwasher, as long as the built-in upper and lower hutch was added in the dining area to provide more storage. The white single basin farmhouse sink with detachable sprayer would also be better and match the white appliances. The bathroom needs a bar by the toilet and a vertical sliding bar attachment for the hand-held shower that would allow for Higher or lower positioning depending on the need. Then, if the front porch could be screened, it would be absolutely perfect!!! Is it possible to find out what the price would be with these changes? Also, the dimensions of the bedroom? Thanks!!
I'm wondering if you could sit upright in a wheeled office chair to move around in the loft? I would love all that storage space, but can't crawl around or hunch over (I'm old). Please consider demonstrating some kind of rolling device in your next video! I loved this house!
Having used a walker and a wheelchair myself, I find the idea of a loft in a handicapped tiny home odd, but the rest of the home is interesting. W/o the loft you'd gain two feet which is necessary in the bedroom as there is really only room for a twin bed. A better design for the bedroom is to have the closet opposite the bed and be able to have side tables and reading lights. Anyway, until you need the space for accessibility, you won't know.
Is it great that this home is wheelchair accessible but I have noted a few things: 1. Say the owner is a wheelchair user that will be living alone, the bathroom shower is great except for the location of the shower head. 2. If said user is living alone, then how are they to access the loft? That will be wasted space if they can’t get to it. 3. Stackable Washer and dryers are not ideal for them as well (wheelchair user’s) 4. Also, there are an excessive amount of windows to clean. Can you install taller windows instead of top and bottom windows?
I would like a built in hutch and a small electric fireplace in the living room under the TV instead of that small cabnet. There are not enough cabnets in kitchen.
YESSIR... THOSE WINDOWS FRONT N BACK ARE MONEY!! WELL ALL THE WINDOWS ARE AWESOME. IM LIKIN THE VAULTED BEDROOM AND SECOND DOOR OFF THAT MASTER. AND HUGE BATHROOM!!
The Lark is the best layout for most singles.
The centralized loft is genius... best of both worlds. 👏👏👏

Is it possible to find out what the price would be with these changes? Also, the dimensions of the bedroom? Thanks!!
Stunning
Nice 😊
I'm wondering if you could sit upright in a wheeled office chair to move around in the loft? I would love all that storage space, but can't crawl around or hunch over (I'm old).
Please consider demonstrating some kind of rolling device in your next video! I loved this house!
Love the bedroom ♥️
Having used a walker and a wheelchair myself, I find the idea of a loft in a handicapped tiny home odd, but the rest of the home is interesting. W/o the loft you'd gain two feet which is necessary in the bedroom as there is really only room for a twin bed. A better design for the bedroom is to have the closet opposite the bed and be able to have side tables and reading lights. Anyway, until you need the space for accessibility, you won't know.
Great vid, Mr. Tiny! Hope to purchase one of these homes soon! 🏡
🔥
Is it great that this home is wheelchair accessible but I have noted a few things:
1. Say the owner is a wheelchair user that will be living alone, the bathroom shower is great except for the location of the shower head.
2. If said user is living alone, then how are they to access the loft? That will be wasted space if they can’t get to it.
3. Stackable Washer and dryers are not ideal for them as well (wheelchair user’s)
4. Also, there are an excessive amount of windows to clean. Can you install taller windows instead of top and bottom windows?
Love all the windows and the shower nice👍😊
Center loft 😍
Hello, came over from Jared Crockers channel. Subscribed.
Lobe the wide door into the bathroom and the roll in shower!
I want it....its perfect
Wow, this is a great idea! Maybe an option for the project we discussed this afternoon!!!
This is nice
I would like a built in hutch and a small electric fireplace in the living room under the TV instead of that small cabnet. There are not enough cabnets in kitchen.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Do you ever do skylights in the loft space?
That would be nice!
Great idea
It would be nice to see how some people have decorated their loft. It seem like this loft will hold a small desk.
I enjoy the light, bathroom is arranged just the way I need.the main bedroom with 3 closets is perfect.
YESSIR... THOSE WINDOWS FRONT N BACK ARE MONEY!! WELL ALL THE WINDOWS ARE AWESOME. IM LIKIN THE VAULTED BEDROOM AND SECOND DOOR OFF THAT MASTER. AND HUGE BATHROOM!!
loved the mid loft! would like to see a walk in tub to go with the 36" entries and hall.
The Lark, need propane fireplace. You are almost prefect. Windows are great!
