I completely understand the feeling of wanting a destination/ European wedding but I wanted all 4 of my grandparents to be present too. We ended up bringing the feeling & atmosphere of a destination wedding to our home area & it made it even more special!! We added a bit of adventure to it by having all of our friends and family stay on site together to enjoy the week, we boated guests across a lake to the ceremony, and brought the casual elegance of Europe to my family’s land for the celebration. Truly made it feel like the best of both! I’m also a wedding videographer in the industry & have been a part of celebrations all over the world, but the most intentional and personal moments & memories come from the people surrounding you not the location 🥹🫶🏼💘🕊️

yall should instal one of those vintage rolling library ladders and instal more shelves up high for storage !! So you don’t have to constantly put it away and also make some storage solutions without taking up space in the kitchen
I hVe moved ma y times at your age,but I always put all the bo es and stuff in extre bedroom and pulled out one box at a time,that way the main spaces were neat and not so
The really narrow cupboard in your kitchen is for baking sheet pans, etc. We also put all the boxes on 1 room and just emptied 1 art a time.......lookin great so far

Totally get feeling blessed but there a lot I’m in that reality finishing up end of are full house renovations new kitvhen bathroom tearing down walls new floors windows and we did it all are selfs with work I feel proud but exhausted watching u both giving me a sense of calm and I can finish
I have a suggestion! Unscrew those shelves above the fridge and move them down so the bottom one sits directly above the fridge and then the other two just above it. Will be slightly less climbing and Clayton could probably reach that haha

What a great house! Moving is tough but the good news is that the moving-in and unpacking phase doesn't last forever. It'll be over before you know it, and you'll be all settled in your new home in no time. 🙂

You might be able to build drawers/pullouts under railing deck to your room for extra space for the kitchen.
Build a small little pantry in that awkward corner next to the fridge! That would be perfect

You guys could put a decorative rolling ladder (like in a library room) to the left of the fridge - that way you could roll it over to reach things on the shelves above the fridge and then out of the way of the fridge when not in use.

Love the house, I live close to you ,a few miles away. Clayton is so handy that helps a lot! It will all work out , just takes a bit, moving is stressful.
