The parents deserve worker's compensation ... it is not a gift by CM
A person does not go to a job, without the intention to return home safely.
Every employer is liable for worker safety, and risk mitigation.
This is clearly a job related incident ... the long shifts, the unsafe environment, the non-provision of rest-room, etc is clearly related to liability risk of the RG Kar hospital insurance.

It's wonderfully explained no doubt ....., but what if internal workplace people do violence insiders not outsiders....for example if a nurse is being harassed by a doctor ward boy or anybody who is insider a healthcare worker itself then ,how it should be treated ? What if a group of Senior doctors or Juniors or the colleagues harrasses torchers co worker how it should be treated ? As in the Kolkata case the hospital authority management were responsible as the doctor was inside her safe workplace .....

DNA test blood test fingerprint....sb test hone chahiye the aur us time jo bhi duty par the unka test hona chahiye tha.....ward boy se lekr doctor tk ka test hona chahiye....jo bhi duty pr tha..... medical college ke Den(principal) ne job kyu chodi aur next day job bhi mil gai...Bahut badiya 😡😡😡....

Very well explained by this doctor. Most Indian hospitals don’t have enough security measures to prevent crime or even post-crime procedures which are ignored or delayed at the initial stages. All Doctors, interns & medical students besides nurses & wardens deserve good n safe basic facilities like attached restrooms, washrooms lounges etc in any small or big hospitals/ clinics. It’s good that AIMSS has taken up these demands. Hope the govt heeds & also brings speedy justice to the victims of such horrendous crimes.
