The piece of machinery you were puzzled by in the first property is from the days when bedding and tablecloths were made of linen. It was used to fold, roll, steam and press the clean bedding and linens so they were crease free. Also the ‘tubes’ as they were known in the last property were from transistor radios. They’re transistors. I’m showing my age aren’t I? Lol. Thanks for the video guys, some of the furniture and architectural pieces were amazing. So sad that they are going to waste. Great way to show the challenges of urbex , nosey neighbors, cops, security guards, recently found trip wire and barbed wire on the step of a well known Welsh asylum and the amount of places we find on Google maps that are ruins then we turn up and it's now a luxury barn conversion etc

Most of my dad's family now lives in Belgium (from northern Italy). Not all but most. But his side is kinda snobby- my mom is from pug region of Bari. I've been to Italy twice and still haven't gotten to see either place!! 🤞🤞 One day. Italy and UK are both on the list. I think I want to add Portugal because of y'all though!

whats crazy to me is how a place like this exists and it has not been completely destroyed. Any nice houses or any houses or apartments in the United states that become abandond or left vaccant for a little while they get destroyed. The walls get broken and the pipes are removed, spray paint is all over the place, partying in the place, small fires from homeless people... its very rare you will find a place to explore that isnt destroyed.
valves is what the glass tubes were called that were in back of old tv that's why we banged on tv lol so as the valves might go back in or my dad would open up the back of tv and fix all the valves...
Really enjoyed watching this, doesn't bother me if it's empty of furniture although it's a plus, I love the architecture of these properties too! The metal thing with a fancy handle you thought was for candles looked like it might have been used to put condiments on ie salt, pepper or even possibly sweet things like small jars or pots of jam, marmalade(?) I loved the stained glass in the door of one of the properties. Shame you all got stopped by the police even though none of you do anything wrong, its always the certain few that go around trashing everything that gives others a bad name, it's a little bit concerning when you're in a foreign country and you find the police carrying guns though 🥺 Anyway carry on uploading these sort of videos, I enjoy watching them anyway, you take the time /money to go to these places we may as well see them! 😊
