Also HUGE note - when buying isopropyl based sanitizers, be sure to not buy industrial grade 99%, as it has toxins and heavy metal additives. Look for medical grade 99% based products. Many unscrupulous companies are using industrial grade to make their hand sanitizers, and not disclosing this vital fact that could poison someone with repetitive exposure.

So it's ok to use the ethanol on your skin in general? Question for lucky nails: which would you use if you had to choose one?

According to the FDA, hand sanitizers must have at least 60% alcohol. So yes, yours is good enough to kill the coronavirus. Here's the reference: www.fda.gov/drugs/information-drug-class/qa-consumers-hand-sanitizers-and-covid-19

@@worldview730 both isopropyl alcohol and ethyl kill germs and virus. There's really no significant difference when it comes to their efficacy. It's just a personal choice whether you want isopropyl or ethyl.

Ethyl on hands feel slimier, and when going to wash my hands with soap, you can feel the slime just washing away, yuck 🤮 no matter 10 mins later or 1 hr later, it's kind of weird... 😮
