  • Making a Adena blade out of the material dubbed by artifact collectors as Horse Creek chert or Pickwick tricolor Jasper. HCC is notorious for being hard to work and this piece is no exception. I did manage to get a big blade with those classic HCC colors of red yellow and black from this tough nodule of chert. #arrowhead #artwork #bushcraft #flintknapping #archeology #fossil #survival

    Awesome blade, do you use indirect percussion of any kind on other points? Just subscribed thanks for the videos

      To thin I use direct percussion. What I’ve noticed with others who use indirect percussion is they break a lot of points. I know indirect percussion has its place in certain applications like punch notching which I sometimes use.
