Staying on top of the maintenance will really help the Dragon last. Keeping everything clean and corrosion free will help keep it all operating and trouble free. Thanks and take care Ken

You're absolutely correct Lloyd. And since I normally ride alone, I want it to be tip top shape to hopefully eliminate any problems. Thanks for watching and take care.

Good thing your going over it. You still have a few more weeks to finish it before we get enough snow to ride.

I hoping we have some snow this year. I'm planning at least one trip to Michigan, but the lower peninsula doesn't have any right now either. So we set and wait, typical winter anymore. Thanks for watching Mark.

@@snowking55 We have no snow here. All trails except for the far North are closed , over 31000 kms still not open.

Good find on the oil pump. That would have been a disaster.

Boy you're telling me Tom. When I removed that plate and looked down in around the pump and saw that, my heart started fluttering. The challenge was then to find an "e" clip to replace the missing one. When I did, I also added a bit of JB Weld on the e clip to make sure it would not fall off again. Thanks for watching Tom.

Juat picked up this same machine at the start of the season. Took it out twice. First time, no issue, ran great! Recent trip, ran fine most of the day. Near the end of the day, got a check engine light, and shut down. Changed plugs on the trail, light went off, and was fine for a bit. Refueled, and now it won't stay running at idle. If I give it gas, it still runs fine. But have a hard time getting it fired up and keeping it running at idle. Any tips?

Don't know? This is the first season for mine also, and just got back from a trip and everything ran pretty good up to about 50 or 60 mph and then it would boog down, don't know what my problem is either, have to sort it out. Sorry I can't help.

I was having same issue last year. Local mechanic told me to replace reed valves. I’m going to try that and hopefully resolves that problem.

Did you say you had a replacement for the fuel filter or did you just clean it? If replaced where did you get the replacement?

I replaced it. You can't really clean it I can't remember where I purchased it from, but Google it and look for a good price. Ebay sometimes has good prices.
