so this is one of the first cartoons Nick got at least some involvement in…not enough to be a nicktoon but still interesting to think this is one of the first times the company tried to at least be part of the production of an animated series, even before starting to make their own
Nickelodeon sub-license the British series with Thames and Cosgrove-Hall (A spin-off to "Danger Mouse") to the American audiences. At that time before Nicktoons, they were broadcasting several shows from international markets catering to all children and families to watch.

Why does the Nickelodeon logo have the shape of Batman’s logo?
To resemble the batwing of a vampire, hence "Count Duckula".
