    Thank you
I'm glad to see I am not alone in my concerns about the current complexities in implementing model-based systems

The video has great instruction but the poor quality audio really is frustrating. True shame as many folks wont be able to finish the video.

I'm new to MBSE, but well-versed in other types of simulation. The critical part of the simulation is defining the interactions. For example, the voltage and current interactions of a resistor are well-known, allowing for accurate simulation. When you add the dimensions of cost, availability, reliability, temperature, humidity, age, and other unk-unk variables... how do you model that? The bottom-up system creation to derive a top-down simulation given an infinite number of non-linear variables would seem to result in chaos.

Clearly we can't model "unk-unk" properties of a system. Not a criticism of your comment. We can model the other properties you mention. Approach these properties of the system in discrete models that focus on the specific properties of concerns of stakeholders via Viewpoints and Views. This approach federates a collection of models to describe / define a system. This is NOT a practice that many can accomplish and yes, it results in a complex federation of models that can become chaotic. Mastery of MBSE requires investment beyond what many individuals and corporations are willing to invest. They question the ROI. Creating a Digital Twin requires capabilities and skills possessed by very few entities.
