I'm replacing the climate control panel in my 2004 Jeep Liberty and your video is perfect, especially how you added the "x" on the vacuum unit's connector to signify the bottom connection... bravo~!
Thank you for this video. i will be using it as a reference when my radio and kit arrive. im a little worried bout the parking brake part of the install. seems excessive, but i also dont want my teen driving around with videos playing in the dash.
How did u turn off the anti theft system because my uncle did the same on his liberty but his car locked him out I’m gonna do it with my 03 jeep liberty and I didn’t want to pay towing fees and the jeep shop to unlock for 200 bucks
Great video BUT... I was expecting a few minutes to focus on the actual installation of the main unit (how it fits inside and to factory bracket, etc) - none of that is shown...
This video came up just 1 week before I bought the exact same stereo for the same Jeep! Thank you SO very much. Any luck with the flickering? I think I will need to go back and disconnect as well
My understanding is that video will only play on the head unit if the parking brake is engaged. It's a safety thing, so that the driver won't be distracted by video when underway. IDK if it really works, haven't tested it.
@@loading7710 We looked but didn't find a video that walked through what we needed to do to install a Boss BE7ACP into a 2004 Jeep Liberty Limited. We also wanted to install steering wheel control integration and a rearview camera. We shared a video earlier this year when we replaced the factory seat cushion covers in the 2004 Jeep. We observe that there have been a lot of views, so we thought we would document our latest project. My daughter and I share our experience in hopes that it will help someone else. We install the following: - Boss BE7ACP - Boss LCPB36 License Plate Mount Rear View Camera - Metra Axxess ASWC-1 - Custom Install Parts Double Din Dash Kit Aftermarket Radio Install -- Compatible with Jeep Liberty 2003-2007 with Premium Infiniti Sound Systems
Yes we found a setting in the head unit that allowed it to play louder. It's not super loud at the top, but it has enough volume so we didn't troubleshoot any further.
@@robtjlutz ok that’s the problem I’m having right now it’s the factory Amps in the doors they are a restriction and don’t allow a lot of amps to flow through the speakers
we bought everything through amazon. There are two bracket sets, one that came with the radio (metal) and one that came with the dash kit (plastic). We used the plastic dash kit brackets
@@sanndyjackson2855 the only odd thing you may notice if you go with a head unit that produces more watts is that the speakers may seem a little quieter that the factory radio but it varies on which company you go with
I listed the item we purchased in the description area for this video. Note that you need to get the correct kit depending on if the jeep has the factory Infinity stereo, or not

Informative video. Thank you for showing exactly what to cut off so the dual din will fit.
Clean and concise 💯 🔥 i may attempt with my jeep when i gets warmer

We gave up with the flickering, we just adjust manually at night if it's too bright. And, the other way during the day.
What is the purpose of connecting the head unit to the parking brake

Can you install one on my jeep??
Does the replacement unit have a 5inch,6inch or 7inch screen?
7"
@@robtjlutz what is the brand of the screen?

Did you have any problems with your sound being quieter than before the install

Good job!
Work in a 2003 jeep liberty?
Don't know for sure, I would assume so though as they are very similar
Where can I buy they bracket

So does the infinity system affect the way you install any head unit?
It shouldn’t it just means you have 2 amps in the front doors it’s weird and works well
