    8:48 The word "octopus" comes from the Greek language, which doesn't use the -i ending to pluralize the -us ending; it's actually correct to say "octopuses" instead of "octopi."

    • @mimos9165
      @mimos9165 7 лет назад

      Un-common, I believe half or most people didn't know them I still have a problem with the title tho since unknown creatures = creature we've seen ONCE only or a creature that has a name only with no information about it.

    • @hannahzografos5729
      @hannahzografos5729 5 лет назад +1

      Mimos 91 Except for the Oarfish as we don’t know much about them. Most of the discoveries were dead or going to die. As they only come near the surface when they going to die. The few lives found ones seen were sick/old and died later. This most of what we know about them. So out of the entire list the Oarfish is the only one that belongs on here the rest don’t especially since most people weren’t aware of oarfish until they heard reports of these large dead fish being found and no one really knew what they were at the time.

    Makes me very angry humans are killing off these beautiful sea creatures. Capturing and killing whales, dolphins and everything else is evil. These creatures evolved over millions of years and in the last 40 years were have wiped out a very high percentage of them! Earth has lost half of its wild life in the last 40 years! Thanks to humans! Stand up and fight for life

That is saying that some grow to the length of 273-289 FEET LONG!!!!!!! Might want to recheck your numbers before posting a video stating supposed points of fact!
