I was at Dollar Tree today. The lady behind me had the chocolate peanut butter chex mix. I had the coconut flour. I asked her if she watched you last night and she said yes! We had a lovely chat. Thanks for a great shop.
Another use for the boot tray: under the sink! I love having something waterproof lining the sink and since it is a sturdy tray if you need to remove your supplies in an emergency, they all come off in one go (as opposed to a shelf liner that just sits there waiting patiently for you to remove each.and.every.item.you.thought.you.needed.stored.under.the.sink. whichisnowgettingitallwet!
I have a wooden slat that match the cabinet going right down from the sink to the bottom of the cabinet dividing the bottom storage under the sink area so a boot tray would never fit in there unless it was tilted so individual items would have to be removed individually anyway. And my kitchen cabinets are modern with a well known name so it can’t be assumed the bottoms of all kitchen cabinets are wide open. I can fit the small 2 shelved small cubbie cubes that are space savers though.
I got my stepmoms birthday present here. Here me out. Pea seeds, a pot, a dish to go under it, a watering can, little shovel, a hummingbird feeder, the hummingbird food, some cute wind chimes, a citronella candle, some candles that smell good, the gift bag and wrapping paper, all for under $20 and I know she’ll love it, I hope!

I love to see your family in the videos with you. Everybody laughs and your husband is just as crazy as you are. Thanks for showing me there are still families that enjoy spending time together.
I bought the microwave plate cover a year ago thinking if it didn’t last it was cheap enough. Guess what? I’m still using it! Easier to wash than my microwave. Definitely recommend 😊
I kept waiting for you to mention the Carbona oven and grill cleaner (it was beside the Windex) it's $10-$20 depending where it's sold...only $1.25 at Dollar Tree!!! Get your grill ready for spring 🌱
Wow I didn't know that no winder the oven cleaner works amazing all I had to do was spray it + close the door for 20 minutes easiest time I ever had with that cleaner 😀😉
I love the ground meat smasher. Someone gave me an expensive one and I prefer to use the dollar tree one. It works faster and crumbles the meat more fine.
I always look at dollar tree's bread section for bagels and English muffins. I stock up on the kid flossers too. They're the exact same thing that they carry at king Soopers/Fred Meyer/Kroger. Also, greeting cards are well worth it. It's flippin crazy how much grocery stores charge for a piece of paper that gets read once then thrown away!
The bread/bagel/bun/donut selections are great but they sell out so fast that you have to be on top of it & sometimes they don’t get the delivery when the store is supposed to. Major drug store chains have also always charged an arm & a leg for greeting cards even from years ago but the dollar stores are charging more for the larger ones now. Still cheaper than other stores though.
Good to know! Might work for raking out the rock garden in the spring. I also do a bit of planting flowers in pots. It is getting too hard to bend down now that I am in my 70's.
Those boxes are perfect for snackle boxes. I make a “snackle” box every time we go out on our boat. Everyone loves them and the individual sections keep the various snacks nicely separated. The grandkids think it’s the best!
I use the rubber boot tray as a trunk liner for putting my groceries on (learned the hard way after a gallon of milk leaked). It can also be used if I have to pick up my kids from a muddy soccer practice etc.. because I just make them set their shoes/cleats on it and jump in the van in only their socks.
I love dollar tree and often go there for my minced garlic, just today I left with 10 jars of minced garlic so when I run out I've got another one ready for me when I'm doing all of my cooking. They are especially useful for my sauces, soups, stews and fast meals when I just need a little bit of garlic in a pinch. I've gotten olives for sandwiches, tacos, salads etc. And coconut milk for some of my Fiancee's Asian recipes. People always downplay the dollar tree but its my happy place where I can get ingredients and things that help me when I'm cooking. Also disposable doggy bags are a must from that store because I sure as heck not going to pay over 3 dollars for a pack of doggy bags. The dollar tree during covid really saved my sanity and even now with prices of food and things going sky high, dollar tree helps me find the deals I need.
I live in an apartment but still like to decorate my front door for the holidays. I buy my door wreaths/decor from Dollar Tree. They're cute and if someone decides they need it more than me then I'm only out $1.25.
All the mini silicone kitchen items- I love them for my camping kitchen and use them for my instant pot. The plastic cutting board sheets are super convenient too. I love the plastic color coded measuring cups and spoons because the serving size doesn't rub off like the Betty Crocker ones and when I was teaching my kids how to cook and about fractions and volume, it was helpful that they were color coded. They have great items for college students moving out for the first time. Their frozen veggies and fruit and small condiments also good size for dorm fridges or single people.
So I got the muffin tops from dollar tree. I just made them into regular size muffins and got 10 muffins. I added fresh blueberries to them after I filled the muffin cups then added the topping. BEST BLUEBERRY MUFFINS EVER! Right now at my local grocery store the same box is on sale for $2.59. CORRECTION just checked my local grocery store app. They are $3.49 for the 11.9 ounce box.
Some of those garden tools with orange handles are meant to screw onto the long gray handles they sell. And, in the cleaning section there are back handles with all kinds of attachments. I love them all!
Our Dollar Tree carries discounted breads. We get the large loaves of Canadian Rye bread, and sometimes bagels (pack of 5) for $1.25. They get fresh stock on Tuesday and Friday so we try to go those days. The rye bread is $7.99/2 loaves at Costco, and bagels are normally $3.99 at regular groceries stores, so this is a great deal. They don’t always have the brands or types we like, so when they do, we stock up and freeze them.
Really great tips, so happy for you finding the red baskets! 🥰🥰🥰 You can also look for smaller re-fill bottles re detergent etc when you travel and fill up from your own stuff that you bought in bulk when on sale. Also saves plastic waste. ❤️
I just found the seeds at our Dollar Store and bought some St. Patty's goodies for my classroom. What a deal. I'm also hooked on the tiny lemonade packets that mix with water. It has finally gotten me to drink more water and not just tea and Diet Coke lol.
OMG! That DT is AMAZINGLY CLEAN AND ORGANIZED!! Great finds, too! YES, the THIN MINT dupe cookies are seriously YUMMY, and I store them in the freezer!!
Read the labels on the freezer food to see the country of origin. I found a lot in China. I just found out today that we are finally getting a Dollar Tree Plus. Can't wait.

I'm due for a Dollar Tree walk thru. I need the garden items and boot trays! We have a mud room and mud is everywhere. My husband and dog drive me crazy. ! But I love them
I love dollar tree for the party stuff. I actually buy those large plastic serving trays, wash them, and basically use them until they crack and go get another one since they're only $1.25. I have brought some amazing ones over the years. Oh my gosh, the kitchen tongs I brought a few weeks ago from there were awful. They worked for about 2 meals and then fell apart. It was funny but really inconvenient.
The little laundry detergent is also good if you wash your duvets in a commercial washer and don't want to use pods. I have a laundromat near me where I wash my duvets/mattress pad/pillows yearly.
We have a boot tray by the backdoor to hold a wet umbrella or set of soggy footwear, but one side of it is reserved for other things that are handy to have at that location. A flashlight, a spare umbrella, a clean, rolled up old towel in case someone comes in soaked, a jug of de-icing salt in winter (switched out for bee and wasp spray in summer). The tray keeps all that little stuff contained and easily found.
Good video! I just got 10 of the baskets you found in red but I got mine in white and completely reorganized my chest freezer! They are awesome! Also a couple for under my cabinets for Summer things. They are great. I also do the garden stuff too, the gloves, tools and the little snips in different types are great for the kitchen and the garden too! Kitchen gadgets, pretty much everything I have gotten has been good honestly. Love the ending! lol
I love the boot trays! I have one that I use to hold craft projects. I can easily move them when I need to set it aside. Also, when I make a meal for someone, it serves as a large tray to hold all the things for transportation.
Have you considered going to goodwill and getting more silverware for waffle Wed? Cheaper in the long run and better for the environment by reducing single use plastics! Enjoy your super fun energy.
Another boot tray trick- putting shovels on it after you snow. Great if you live in an apartment so you can keep them by the door without ruining your carpet.
Some of the kitchen tools like the can opener, knives. But I have to tell you, the mop heads , dusters, pads, cob web brushes, fan dusters, and handles! I can’t say enough!!! Probably one of my favorite things there!! 🎉
Hidden gem at 5 Quarter Store: Full size household cleaners. Its that time of year when you may actually go through a full size bottle of whatever. Definitely check it out before going to your regular store. I have been happy with the Fabuloso and the blue ocean stuff (cannot remember the brand since I filled my own container and tossed their bottle). What do I use the blue ocean stuff for? A couple of squirts after using the toilet and it makes the room company ready without getting out the kit and caboodle and doing a deep clean. Think: clean enough for your Amazon delivery person to have a potty run, maybe not clean enough for the MIL. haha
I love the mini laundry bottles. I always bring a few each time I visit my daughter- she has to haul her laundry to a laundry mat- the gain smells amazing! 😊 The fake Girl Scout cookies are made in the same factory and same ingredients as the real ones. Only difference is a variation in the sugar
Even dry name brand cereals & crackers are highly processed foods! Only buy organic crackers now as they make a good quick breakfast with cheese & fruit.
I LIVE for the kitchen section of DT!!! I especially love the kitchen shears, measuring cups, rubber baking spatulas, and the grease splash guards. We recently painted our bedroom and went to DT and found plastic drop sheets! Perfect for a small project. We also used the 4 cup measuring cups (lined with a ziplock bag) when painting the trim and lining in. So much cheaper than the intended paint cup with a handle!

Thank you! How do you do this, please?
@britaeirikr8609 There is a box top app available. I use it and it's simple to do.
I work at the local state park. I bought 20 handheld pasta strainers to tape on broomsticks for tadpole catchers. They work great!

Thanks for the idea! Definitely using the boot tray with gardening this year!

Their bagels are excellent!
Just so you know, the "hand rake" actually attaches to the long handle and can inter change with the shovel and I believe the brooms and mops:)
But it works great without the long handle too.
