I have used both the tablets......
First I chose the A9 plus for the Samsung software features, but after getting the tab, I felt the display was really bad. The colours weren't great and the sharpness of the screen wasn't great either. I could see pixels from a normal distance. Plus there was a dead pixel at the corner of the display. I have no idea how Samsung missed the dead pixel while checking the product cuz it was prominent from a little close distance. When I tried to return the product, Samsung said to give the product in service centre first and then they'll decide to return the product or not (cuz I bought it from Samsung shop). They took 5 days and then returned the product.
After all the bad experience that I got from Samsung, I chose to go with the Pad 6, and it is one of the best tablets ever made. Though it is a bit more expensive, it is worth it.
The display felt like I was watching through the window. The speakers were soo good and clear and the software was actually good. The tab felt like I was gliding through it (mainly cuz 144hz) and performance was top notch. I wanted a tab for gaming, Kindle reading and multimedia and it was perfect for that.
I think for any use case, get the Xiaomi pad... it's way better than Samsung.

honestly for the pad 6 price i can just buy the s9 fe wich in many aspects is even better than pad 6, since im on a budget i will go for the a9 since its way cheaper and iv only used samsung tabs, for me my my tab a 8" was ok so it will be a big update for me with the a9

Xiaomi software and support is absolutely terrible.
@@bestiethegamer3867 I completely agree that the SD 870 is the superior option between these two. However, for someone who's looking for a budget-friendly choice, I'd still say that the SD 695 is good for everyday use.
Personally, I'm considering buying the A9+ because of its affordable price. It fits perfectly within my budget, and in my opinion, it still offers great specs. Additionally, it comes with a memory card slot (supporting up to 1TB), which is really beneficial for me. I can easily download PDFs and transfer files between my laptop and tablet. AND, it has an audio jack, a huge plus points for me hehe
Although the A9+ doesn't support stylus pens, I can always purchase a third-party option and use good palm rejection gloves for taking notes.
even though i hate miui id get the pad 6. thats more s9fe level.the price is wayyy different in germany, here the pad 6 is like 400€ whereas you can get the samsung for 200€ or something like that.
I'd like to ask if you are able to change the number of rows and columna on the A9+ and if you are able to use other launchers without the tablet disabling your ability to use gestures?
You can change the home/app screen rows and columns in settings or using the Good Lock app if you want to have a max of 9x9 grid if that's what you mean. For alternate launchers, gestures will not be disabled but the new taskbar feature won't work.

A9+ advantage: 5G, GPS, Dex

But the main issue with A9+ screen is it's bad viewing angles.. 1200p is decent enough.. colors are ok-ish at best
Also.. Xiaomi pad CPU is like 1.5x stronger overall.. so it's will lag less over the long run
Still.. if U can get A9+ with some promo or deal.. it's get some value for like $150-ish
and dont forget pad 6 have pen support
i just got a9 plus and yes they all got differences pros/cons but the a9 plus with the DEX it's just amazing, since i work with multitasking and im tired to carry my 15" laptop around this came as a great replacement and im really happy with it! the battery it's great, resolution also depending if you really picky but for me it's just fine with the 90hz smooth display i love to scroll on it, brightness wise I fell comfortable working on it on a bright sunny day with no issues on max brightness yes it does consume power but with almost all day usage i get home with it with at least 15% battery. Every tablet is great in every aspect for working and more serious stuff (or pc replacement for web and normal pc tasks) i think the a9 plus is a go to.
Do you have a pen with it that works?
I use an active stylus pen. But to write, u need to use a glove that can help with the palm rjection @aaqsaahmed

What are your favorite or least favorite things about the tablet I just ordered one with the free book cover did you get the 128 storage with 8 GB of RAM or the 64 storage model with 4 GB of RAM right now it's only $2.69 on Amazon for the higher model so it's really good can I ask what tablet did you have before and how would you compare like did you have the tab a7 the tab A8 or any other tablet thank you for all your information and time

But are we really comparing 2 tablets in the same price point. In Australia the Xiaomi Pad 6 is $529 and the Galaxy Tab A9+ 64Gb is $297. Yes the specs are better but would expect so for a $200+ premium

The price for A9+ wifi is just $220 and $330 for mi pad 6.

Does the A9+ have a muted or a wash out color like it did in the A8 ?

@astridamsterdam1171 so there's no difference between the colors A8 and the A9+. I'm really disappointed. I got the Tab A 10. 2019 version and the color look really good. We got the A8 for my mother during the holiday and was quite disappointed. I don't know what happen between the Tab A 10 .2019 version - A8 and now the A9+. My tab A 10 2019 version is a tft screen, and so does the A8 version. So I don't know what the deal for Samsung to do this. But the good news is we only paid about 139 for the A8. So I was thinking of getting the A9+ for her whenever it comes, but what's the point if it got the same dull screen.
@@tiffanyt9329 i don't know if it is better than the a8 because I never had it. I saw a review where someone said it was a bit better, but not that much. For me this is major important, but may be others are not that picky. I send the A9+ back and go to a shop with showmodels, because you have to see these things gor yourself.

Xiaomi Pad 6 is slightly better.. not great like S9 for example.. but it's better than A9+ & A8
I found A9+ with 8/128 at $199 (deal) while Xiaomi pad 6 with 8/256 for $350.. kinda togh call (75% more expensive but 50% better hardware).. plus xiaomi pad have much better reslution, CPU..etc

Take note that this is Samsungs lower end product line. don't campare to the "S" line which is thier premium end products. there really is no comparison. for those who say Xiaomi is better brand etc... it really isn't. its an ok brand for good prices but not in the same league as Samsungs premium product line.

Still.. I will go for Xiaomi Pad 6 overall thanks to it's much better hardware.. Tab S9 FE can match Xiaomi Pad 6 but it's slightly slower CPU & slightly more expensive.. A9+ is super basic cheap Tablet I guess

That's from Hardware level.. in Software level it's hit or miss depending on the Android Update

As far I searched on Xiaomi phones, only seen people complains about bad software (bugs) and some bad hardware (indian made)
I bought Poco F5 (which use Xiaomi main bored) before a few months.. it's still working.. only time will tell how long it will last
For me.. a cheap phone last 2 years is acceptable, most countries doesn't offer more than 2 years warranty
It's will be an issue if you bought med tier or even high end tier phone & lasted only 2 years

between the two - choose the samsung one. xiaomi products are notorious for their deadboots. i'd rather have a product of slightly lesser specs but is more durable and reliable. you don't want to lose those datas.

What i hate about my Pad 6.. Can't change the columns and rows count at the home screen. Can't change the launcher without disabling the gestures.

A9+ is almost half the price of pad 6 in my country and it's a no brainer for the fact that Samsung has much better ram management which makes overall user experience much better. Xiaomi devices act too shady, which annoys me a lot. Both chips will net you a similar gaming performance anyway at the end of the day.
The speaker on a9+ is incredible compared to most other tablets on the market. It's so loud and impressive. Contrast is also better. Build quality is amazing.
