Agree that's pretty expensive. But one does have to pay for good quality, especially nowadays. I'm sure it could pay for itself if you had to call a recovery service to come get you out of a sticky situation. Nice review.
I absolutely agree that 90% of the time you get what you pay for, and that it seems like nothing is cheap anymore! I hope to get plenty of use out of this kit and it could absolutely save us a call for recovery. So all in all I think it’s money well spent. Thanks for watching!
I’ve really been enjoying your videos on the Warn Zeno XD winch and recovery gear, but what I’m exceptionally thankful for is demonstrating how the different equipment can be used. I’m exploring a winch because I tow an off-grid camper trailer pretty deep into the backcountry, so the odds of getting stuck are reasonably high (lol). With that said, do you think a 10,000lb winch would suitable for mounting on an F150 with a 5,000lb trailer? Also, is the Zeon HD much heavier than the VR Evo? Thanks again. :)
Hey thanks for watching! So personally I would lean towards the 12s for your application. Especially since you’re only looking at about a $150 difference between the 10s and 12s on the Xeon XD series. As far as weights as best I can tell you’re only looking at about a 10-15 pound difference between the Evo and Xeon. If your wallet can handle it I would absolutely go for the Xeon XD. When comparing my dad’s Evo to our XD you can tell the difference in quality and you will get what you pay for. That being said there’s nothing wrong with the Evo, but if you could potentially be in a bad spot and dependent on your winch I would invest the better option. Hope that helps and thanks again for watching!
Thanks!
I like your channel man. Very relevant I just got the zeon XD as well
Awesome and thank you!

Glad you got all that gear hopefully we don’t have to use any of it though
Nah not for a while hopefully but it’s nice to have just in case!
