I watched your videos when I was just applying in Chesham/Interac. Now I already have a departure date. I just want you to know that you helped a lot of people thru your videos. I wish I could see you in Japan! All the love, Ms. Karla! 😍💜💜
Hi, Jayson & Cam! I’ve applied as an ALT through Chesham/Interac same as with Ms. Karla. Unfortunately, there are courses that will not be considered to apply as ALT such as Nursing, Engineering, Business, HR, Accounting (and some others). 😔
Hi, Miss Candy! I've been watching your videos for a very long time now. Your videos are a huge help especially for people like me na nangangarap po na mag teach sa Japan. Keep it up! ❤
Im a teacher in the US and make $62,000 before tax in my second year. After all my expenses ( not including money for recreation or whatever)I have about $1000 left a month if Im lucky. Not much different than what you're about able to save there.
First! Hahaha will be going to Japan soon! If it weren't for your videos, I wouldnt have known about Chesham. More videos pls! (Like what to expect in your first few days in Japan like accommodation, training, etc.) Hehe
Based on many sharings including this, mas angkop ang pagpunta sa k Japan to work as ALT para sa mga batang guro kc good experience at adventure ito. If that's what you like, Japan is perfect. But if u like experience, adventure and better earning, better try going to Indonesia dahil tax free, free transport, free housing, free lunch, free visa, free airfare, free education for dependents, lower cost of living, longer hlidays, no prorated pay during holiday, free medical insurance, free international training, no need to do part-time job, and best of all you work as a teacher, not as an assistant. This is more for family men and women. Just sharing. God bless po.
@@jersonagustin5800 mlawak Ang range.....pag galing k ng pinas mag apply, usually 1k usd pataas plus all those perks mentioned. Pag nsa Indonesia kna...u can look for schools that offer between 1500 to 5000 usd.....depende sa qualifications mo at school na ppsukan plus all perks. :)

That's thousands and thousands of paycheck but same way with the bills that leaves you with little income in the end.But I hope God will richly bless you as you help other teachers achieve their dream of going to Japan to work as ALT.
Thank you for the very informative video. I hope to see you in person in Japan. I'm in the process of applying as an ALT in Japan through Chesham Recruitment.
Ano po kayang nga part-time jobs ang pwedeng pasukan ng isang ALT sa Japan? I'm still on the application process po at until now wini-weigh ko pa din kung tutuloy ba ko o hindi....I hope u can give me idea about this. tia
Hello Miss Karla, I was trying to search for you on facebook...just wanna see more of you. It helps when you know some people dealing with the same things you're in. I'm on my first contract as an ALT and it started last October finishes this March. The present situation of the world, due to COVID19, had just made everything worst. I'm the bread winner of my family and even I've my own, I still extend help to my parents and my siblings. Ive tried being too thrifty to save for them. It's my third New Year celebration without my family since I moved in Japan. With the help of God, I was able to survive till this day... as you have said in your videos, life of OFWs in Japan is not as easy as our family think of it. Im thinking of bringing my family here. What would you advise? (If you have any idea.) Thank you so much in advance!
Hi mam I am an aspiring Teacher to be hired in Japan. I am public school teacher for almost 3 years. And I really wanted to go to Japan as i graduate with my masteral degree. Thank you for the infos.
Thank you so much for this informative video. Do you think a salary of 18000 per month is acceptable for a position in the countryside. There s a dispatch company who offered me this salary
Hi Miss Candy...I just watched your video about documents needed to go to japan. So I'm really curious if you really need to have a driving experience before going to Japan. Cause I really don't know how to drive. Hoping po for response 😊
Is it possible to become a teacher in Japan if my exposure here in Philippines is being a tour guide and csr? I hope to have an answer, also waiting patiently. Thanks!
Ate Candy! For example po nag work ako sa Japan as an ALT tapos nag bayad ako ng pension every month and then suddenly naisipan kong umuwi sa Pilipinas, makukuha ko po ba yung binayad ko?
Hi, this is very inspiring. How many years of experience in teaching do you need here in the Philippines so you can apply as ALT? Do you really need to be an English teacher major or it's okay if not as long as you're a teacher with any other subjects?
Hi, Cindy! I’m not a licensed teacher, my course is BA Communication Arts. I’ve worked in a corporate setting for more than 5 years until I resigned a few months ago. My only teaching experience is online tutorial of Japanese students and yet when I applied through Chesham/Interac, I have been honored to be departing to Japan on March 2020. So to answer your questions, 1. no you don’t necessarily need teaching experience (online can be enough) 2. even if you are not an English major, it’s ok as long as you have a BA degree with some exposure to English teaching. 😊 Hope it’s clear. 😊
Hello I have been a fan of yours po ate. I am also here in Japan but I started as a student visa and next month I will start working as an ALT. I have also started my vlog a while a ago to give more info about student visa status. (Mr Choco guy in Japan) Anyways, your videos po are very helpful especially now that I am transitioning from student visa to Working Visa. Now it seems like even mag ka trabaho po ako as a professional here mahirap parin pala. But I think I can manage it well, given that the student visa status was way worst ( heaven and hell experience to be exact). I have a question po about sa sasakyan. My company offered to give me a car kaso wala akong driver's license but I am planning to get one soon. What is your experience po in getting your company car? Need po ba ng international license? Thank you po. Keep on uploading po.
Huhu ang daya pala nang company ko kasi even in my first year here, the company deducts 10% of my total salary as residence and another 4% of the whole salary for income tax plus may pension at health insurance pa ako. Huhuhuhu grabeh
