Makes sense, in a timeline where sans kills every monster to get the LV he needs, he would always win because not only would he be above Chara's lvl 20, since he also knows the underground like the back of his hand so he knows where other monsters are and since he starts every reset further In the underground than we do he'd also take every weapon around and either store them away or break them before we get to them

BTW, Crosscode is a pretty old game, with techdemo released all the way back in 2013! And to this day, to my knowledge, the only drama related to this game, is the one portrayed in the story. Pretty good statistics, in my opinion.
