Why would You Tube ban this. Stepping back in the past is not illegal nor should it be banned. I think the pics R somewhat photoshop garbage stunts could been done a bit better. I have a place where I go was once a giant camp grounds with huge wooden log buildings all almost gone now... My memories keep the place as it had been.

Once Upon A Time In The West is said to be one of the 10 best westerns ever made and one of the 50 best films. To me it's simply one of the very best films of all times - timeless and totally unique in every way. It was the intension also for the Dollar trilogy, but now Ennio Morricone finally made the music first so that Sergio Leone could direct, or perhaps more like conduct the film to the music. They didn't record the contentum sound in Leone's westerns so they played the music on the set. The result is amazing. I hope the two maestros now have a wonderful time beyond.

My brother and i could recite every dialogue in this movie. He died in 2005 and in a few months i will lay his harmonica at the Brick Arch location close to Monument Valley.

Been about 50 years ago when I went to see this with my dad. I was about 12. This tears as the heart seeing how much time has passed. My dad, having watched all the movies from the 40's to 60's, couldn't believe Henry Fonda shot a boy.

This film really struck a chord for many!! Have you noticed the detail that is in it? Down to little details like sinking the music and the horse hooves with the music in some places. Henry Fonda really cemented himself as a bad guy by shooting the 8 year old. He was a smug murderer in this film.

Never too late to answer : Morricone composed the music first, which was then played on set. The scenes were paced according to that music.

I remember watching this masterpiece in December 2020 during the winter break and it definitely made me interested into the western genre of movies!

Only the coach ride was filmed in the US. All the rest of the movie was filmed in Tabernas, Spain.
