In League, you can also deny a creep from your enemy by zoning and harassing them while your creep dies, but not like in dota where you can last hit your own creep.

Happened to me before.. playing Tahm Kench, a tank support.. carrying the game in support role, and League players was so amazed they think my rank is high, but I was a newbie in League.. my rank is gold, thats the equivalent of Crusader/Archon.. they were so shocked im playing in such a high level even when my rank is low... Well thats dota for you.. and my dota rank wasnt even that high.. my highest is Legend 1, almost got to Ancient but was too busy to do so.. they think I was way too good yet my dota rank is just above average..
I played with my friends in LoL is as well and they were so amazed with my mechanics saying I'm a veteran in league. I only reached legend 3/4 in dota until a lose streak destroyed me lol

Last hitting in League depends solely on how much you are getting bullied in lane, it is impossible to miss the last hit but if you can't reach the creep wave due to harass you ain't getting many, while in dota you have to watch out for dennies from two heroes on sidelane and harass.
Don’t forget you can get camped or roamed on by support.then you get snowballed on. Being good in a 1v1 on a new account does not equate to being good.
Especially in top lane where there is not a lot of help from other lanes. If you get bullied then you just can't farm at all if the opponent freeze good.
A great or even just decent last hitter in dota would dominate in league. Cuz they dont have the management pressure of last hitting AND trying to denies.
Tbh if you don’t play league it’s hard to understand why less possible manipulation of a wave can be just as interesting - you have to work around the existing constraints to gain an advantage, use your body to deny, contest the cs by attacking them when they try to go for it rather than attacking it before them, prevent them from getting in range, use the autoattack animation to land a skillshot. Then there’s the macro aspect, where if the enemy can’t fight you, you can just keep the wave in front of your tower forever very very very easily. It’s a much more delicate balance in league that is very punishing if done wrong, especially given that you can’t just go pull or jungle if you mess it up. There’s a ton of macro concepts of how you stack waves to push under their tower to allow you to recall and lose nothing, ways to set up tower dives that use level timings/set up for your jungle, ways to keep yourself safe from those tactics on the other side. There’s just a bunch of ways to abuse creep waves that just do not exist in Dota in the same way. Anyone who’s played both games at any semblance of a reasonable level knows what I’m talking about (like emerald+ and ancient+, personally I was diamond 1 which is more like master 150 LP in today’s league, and 5.2k in Dota)
i playing dota for 7k hours and try mobile legend, i got mythic rank on first month xD, after that i try league for first time and i got 20+ win streak. dota is on different level

As a Dota veteran I got invited to play LoL with some friends from work. My first game ever I pick Zilean because he's in the free rotation, the enemy also picks Zilean (the guy was level 30 gold or whatever and had a ton of points on the champ) so we have a ADC + Zilean vs ADC + Zilean matchup in the bot lane. I DESTROYED the opposing Zilean.
@@omega7057 A quick Google search tells me it's approx 210 games to hit level 30 and with his large amount of mastery points on Zilean he definitely should have wrecked me in lane.
I wish League players would actually try Dota and see how much harder it is instead of just disagreeing. Its not a competition, the difficulty of the game doesnt mean its innately better. I prefer Dota 100% as a 10+ year player, and think it offers more counterplay and ways to come back when you’re behind. Thats not to say a day 1 League player wouldn’t enjoy League more bc its more comfortable for them. Just enjoy the game you like more, but you have to respect that Dota IS more complex and challenging in every way, just based on the sheer number of mechanics and interactions that are not even possible in League of Legends.
@@mythmaster8416 as someone who did exactly what you said (played league to top .2%), came to Dota and tried it, played ~700 games (ranked + unranked), got to 5.2k in 650, I didn’t find the game that difficult. It has its challenges, but so does league. Personally I felt that league was a higher skill game, but that may be because mechanical differences in players is incredibly evident even at the very highest level, and it’s also incredibly punishing for getting those things wrong in a way Dota isn’t.
i played dota since dota 1, switched to league because all my friends were playing it at the time but still played when dota 2 launched and after, both games are extremely hard at a high level, you are the ignorant one here, dota 2 has more strategy and macro involvement in it's difficulty (itemziaton, map control, draft), league has more mechanical difficulty (skillshots, movement, mistake capitalizing). i don't understand idiots that say one is harder than the other, so would you like league to be exactly the same game with just different heroes? isn't it fckin normal for 2 games to be different from each-other? especially in the same market? absolute braindead takes.

Not really i been playing dota over Christmas in unranked vs players with 10k, 4k, 8k games and beat them sometimes. The biggest difference between dota and league is the laning phase and farming in league you must lane and hold your 1v1 or 2v2. In dota you can just say fuck it and go jungle ideally you lane and jungle. The amount of people who just farm for 40 minutes in jungle in dota is insane there is no skill in that.

Honestly I had a similar experience trying to get my LoL playing friend into Dota, he tried a few games of Dota with me, he wasn’t very good and couldn’t intuitively pick up on all the new tiny systems. I went over to LoL with him as he assured me league wasn’t easier and dominated in my first ever match. I used that vampire dude who can turn into a puddle of blood (Vlad? If I remember correctly). Even went on to 1 v 1 him because he couldn’t believe how well I did. I beat him. 😅

I'm more of a League player than a Dota player (played both 1&2) and I think League was definitely designed to be easier to play than Dota to make it more accessible. That's just the reality. I started playing League when it first came out because I got tired of trying to catch up to my classmates who've been playing Dota for years. They can make fun of League for being easier but it's also the reason why it has a big player base.
This makes sense, if you think about it. It is the support players in DOTA who do all the trading in lane, and in LoL lanes are primarily about trading efficiently.
I remember a dota player with 8k mmr challenge by chat to play LoL and hit the hiighest rank in LoL. He made it by 30 days, first time he install and play the game. Another LoL player seems like not in the highest rank in LoL but closed said dota is much easier and challenge by chat. She quit after 1 week hahahaha.

I play dota 1 for the last 3 years and when i play LOL i reach diamond in 1 season. Then i stop playing lol in season 5 and played dota 2 in 2017, i got ancient in 2018. Then i got back to league in 2019 i only reach platinum. After a year i got back at dota 2 again, first 2 game is hard, i need to adjust. But after that it was all good, peak 2018. Dota 2 is all about mechanics, when you know the mechanics you can come back anytime while LoL is all about reflex, speccialy in higher rank. I know this because i notice that the older i got, my hand doesnt listen to my mind anymore just like the good old days. Anyway Dota 2 = all about mechanics LoL = all about reflex
If you play dota as your fist Moba, All moba game feel easier after that. And Ceb is 2 times TI winner back to back, ofcourse LOL is just like baby game for him, lol.

Honestly I had a similar experience trying to get my LoL playing friend into Dota, he tried a few games of Dota with me, he wasn’t very good and couldn’t intuitively pick up on all the new tiny systems. I went over to LoL with him as he assured me league wasn’t easier and dominated in my first ever match. I used that vampire dude who can turn into a puddle of blood (Vlad? If I remember correctly). Even went on to 1 v 1 him because he couldn’t believe how well I did. I beat him. 😅
used to grind LoL when my friends are offline in dota, somehow i reached diamond in less than a month, keep spamming trynda,darius and vayne, in dota im still 5k scrub

I'm terrible at games in general so I was hard stuck low archon, then I played league and stomped golds in 1 week with no coach. There's no comparison in difficulty.
I have played all mobas that exist till now i can comfortable say dota has the most depth as a game.All games were fun to play but imo dota is the best coming from a guy that plays mobas since dota 1 changed to Lol for 5 years, heroes of newerth heroes of the storm smite etc.then back to dota 2.Dota is king

I'm more of a League player than a Dota player (played both 1&2) and I think League was definitely designed to be easier to play than Dota to make it more accessible. That's just the reality.
I started playing League when it first came out because I got tired of trying to catch up to my classmates who've been playing Dota for years.
They can make fun of League for being easier but it's also the reason why it has a big player base.

I remember a dota player with 8k mmr challenge by chat to play LoL and hit the hiighest rank in LoL. He made it by 30 days, first time he install and play the game. Another LoL player seems like not in the highest rank in LoL but closed said dota is much easier and challenge by chat. She quit after 1 week hahahaha.

Played both games on release i can fairly say the the two are drastically different but starting at dota going to lol you will have a really good edge dota complexity is to the roof while lol mechanical complexity harder than dota

I play dota 1 for the last 3 years and when i play LOL i reach diamond in 1 season. Then i stop playing lol in season 5 and played dota 2 in 2017, i got ancient in 2018. Then i got back to league in 2019 i only reach platinum. After a year i got back at dota 2 again, first 2 game is hard, i need to adjust. But after that it was all good, peak 2018. Dota 2 is all about mechanics, when you know the mechanics you can come back anytime while LoL is all about reflex, speccialy in higher rank. I know this because i notice that the older i got, my hand doesnt listen to my mind anymore just like the good old days.

i was playing on a net cafe with my friends who only plays league and im the only 1 who play dota and i got hook to their game TfT(from garena) we played 1 classic and i was able to out play them all 😂😂😂 but yeah i guess i still got some knowledge about how it fets play because i watch them play rank from time to time

Dota is more difficult to last hit because of agro, positioning, decision making on denying or last hitting, and wave manipulation. Lol is just wave manipulation, positioning, and last hitting
DotA skills is transferable to LoL. But LoL skills is not enough to succeed in DotA 2.

8k hours doesn't mean he was a good rank. I'll give props to Ceb he's a god at Dota, but this could have been any rank or even a lane swap. Doesn't mean as much without real context. I got a few top lane champs he'd lose his mind over as he won't even get near the wave to get xp let alone last hit.

Well I played some games league with some of my friends couple months ago.Bruv I played lux legit had a score 31-7 as support and I solo carried them all and I was 6 slotted.The brain damage the mid and top got when they saw me ganging them bruv they went mad
