This is just so sad and traumatic. I was googling other missing persons near CC TX and there are quite a few actually. Ivey Guiterez (2022) , Bradley Brooks (2019) Jesse Garcia also went missing prior to a fishing trip, Allison Tackett (2024) , Richard Bradley (1993) , Christina (no last name listed) in 2001, Brian Lee 2001, plus multiple more in the general area.

@@breemcbride8988 There’s another case from 2019 that I feel is worth mentioning because it speaks to the potential for crime down there but one that I don’t think is related whatsoever to these other cases or Caleb’s especially since the perpetrators had already been caught and recently convicted: in Oct. 2019 a couple by the names of James and Michelle Butler went missing near Padre Balli Park and their bodies were found buried in the dunes a little bit south of Bob Hall Pier in a spot known as the “bowl” because it’s a area where the dunes clear out a bit - both Padre Balli Park and Bob Hall Pier (prime fishing spot - as well as the jetty up the beach) are only about a 15-20 minute drive from The Cottages where Caleb lived. The murders of James and Michelle seemed to be a crime of opportunity as their RV and truck were stolen as well. Still very eerie as that specific area is one I travel to multiple times a year and have always felt safe traveling to - even having slept there on the beach in my jeep by myself before, but after this happened I have yet to do so and I’m definitely more vigilant while out there.
As quickly as he went silent and his phone went dead.. How was there time for anyone to do him harm??
That’s the problem, it’s more likely he went silent bc he was kidnapped and his phone was broken by the perp.

There was a case in Detroit where a guy went missing and they found his skeleton remains down a manhole. The news article is on RUclips. In my opinion Caleb was put in a manhole near the well station and once the body decomposed it traveled into the well

Was that guy's name you mentioned Michael Harris ? I think that's the one. He was found in the line at the door where it goes too. Inside the pump house. It's been several years ago about that one.

The guy who was at a "different park" was not super close. I live here. He was going to go fishing and his truck was found but the DeWitt park area is quite a distance.
No shoes in S Texas is pretty normal, even in the cooler months. Especially after midnight out front of your home w friends. Probably unusual to walk into the grass if not landscaped or kept mowed. It’s like summer everywhere else.
I don’t believe anything she says she wants everyone to hold stock in what she reports but she has been wrong to many times. I believe it’s foul play if it’s Caleb.
I think I mentioned before - there is an outer chamber which is bigger - and the pipe which is 15 inches (length of a ruler), so if he fell down the well / chamber and hit his head, was knocked unconscious, then never regained consciousness and simpy passed away? and was sucked into the small pipe?

The more you cite JC the less credibility you have for me. She doesn’t know anymore than any other John Q. Citizen and is wrong as much if not more than she is right. On top of that, she’s downright cruel and disrespectful to anyone who doesn’t agree with her. Makes me start to question if this is just another regular RUclips channel out for what you can profit rather than truly trying to help the victims.
She can’t even get where the remains were found right. It’s a freaking lift station not a pump station!
If Caleb accidentally fell down the manhole have they searched or found his phone down there, that would probably confirm his I.D IMO.

Simply put. Moisture lends to advanced decomposition ..especially in. A wastewater lif station that gets treated w chemicals.
Maybe body drowned after falling into manhole?? Then decomp went thru pipe to statiin??

I still dont think foul play if its Caleb. Everything stopped around 3 and that wasnt to long after he did his order and was sending pic/snapchats so imo makes sense he fell in manhole.
I believe there was an accident with cops and flashing lights across that field. He went over to watch. He fell in most likely.

I think my opinion only he walked from williams street straight along the side of premiere boat on that path straight up pass the lift station kept walking straight and that man hole cover was not covered the weeds and fog and darkness had him fall into that hole. He couldn't climb back out as it doesn't look like it's accessible especially with a injury. Plus the volunteer that discovered the un-covered man-hole said she heard noises. I absolutely love how you think about these cases logically and don't give into all the drama. I also mix up words due to dyslexia lol. I lean toward it being an accident. There are several other cases of bodies discovered in lift stations. There aren't a bunch of lift station killers lol. I definitely think a man hole is involved whether an accident or purposely placed there. If it were on purpose, someone would be familiar with the locations of man holes. It's not impossible. There are rumors that Caleb was drinking a lot and possibly high. Even though the lady who was FBI says she can't imagine as a previous farm girl anyone going into the foggy corn field barefoot, I can. If he was drinking and high , it lowers your inhibitions. One could just walk around freely taking in the foggy night and fall in.

Disengenuous of those promoting scenaro Caleb walked barefoot extensive distance, early morning dark, in response to "hookup" opportunity. Abomination to add to pain and suffering of family and friends by disclosing 20-year old Caleb's failing grades and failure to secure dream job.
Wonder if any clothing was found top, bottoms and underwear, he had a cap in the photo maybe his cap and also bracelet he was always wearing and the phone did they locate it while draining the water couldn't that give them possible i.d even though they still need dna facts how come none of those items were found, did they have a filter screen when draining then water to try and catch any possible evidence
Looks like he wasn’t planning on going to sleep any time soon or at all and decided to walk around outside until the Uber eats got there. That makes the most sense to me. Is there some type of live bait near where the last pic was taken?

heat yes, warm or hot water yes, cold water no...air yes. I'm replying directly to his statements about which elements would affect this found body decomposing quicker, if it was that bad off...so the body could have started off for an unknown number of weeks maybe before being swept away by water, this decomposed faster. I'm just leaving my thoughts not so interested in back and forth anymore on it. well find out eventually if its him or not
Surely, having lived there a while, he would have known that those were manhole covers? It was clear that there was something different in that area. Surely the "locals" would have known what was over there in that field.
I can't imagine he'd just walk over and fall in...
My other question is: is there any possibility for the body to have been dumped further along the system? Like at the Oso bay hiking trail? And did it then end up there?
If the Oso Bay had a drainage adjacent to the lift station, perhaps?
I wonder how long it had been since that area was last inspected? How long was the body in that chamber?

Sewage water at that with chemicals from cleaning products and sewage. Lot of flesh eating disease in there
There was a case here in Texas , not sure what area, and a couple of wild hog hunters were hunting hogs and they running after the dogs and one or two of the people fell down into an abandoned uncovered well. I know that dosent have anything to do with Caleb but its a very similar scenario with same outcome.

Yes. EXACTLY. I think it's a state law here that all WELLS NOT in use for whatever reason are to be covered to prevent that very thing from happening. It was put in to law after that little girl in Midland TX years ago accidentally fell in one. They got her out but these 2 hog hunters were dead by the time they got them out. It was earlier this year I think. It wasn't that long ago .

I live by the water and I walk outside alone at all hours of the night when I can’t sleep. I’m 42 years old but a woman and I’m scared at times… not only because of other people, but also because I’m surrounded by water ways, roads and woods and this is in NJ! 😢
What’s frustrating is that we don’t know if it’s foul play and just knowing the answer to that one question would open up so many possibilities while also closing a lot. Totally not the searchers fault if he does turn up in the areas surrounding, and there was no foul play. Just so sad. 😞
I don’t know a single soul that fishes with worms down there unless you’re at a lake / pond, which isn’t the typical fishing location down there. Live bait would require a bait trapper which he could’ve had set up at the bridge there but I’m unsure if that would be a good spot for bait - but could be a reason for going down there so late to check on his trap. But if I’m not mistaken I believe there was mention of him being excited to try a new lure but I could be misremembering that.

Hay, Remember like a week ago. someone in chat, said lives in that area. there was an employee found to be a bad criminal. he was fired and kept key, pass to get into that facility.
One of theories was a city cover up, not getting a key back is on the city
