Thanks for the video. A question for you. Why didn't you use a target waypoint and set the weapon selector to BOMB RR? In that way the computer will tell you when to release. It's ok to fly low, e.g. 50 m asl. Yes, you will release at a longer range than 1 km, but with a bit of practice it is doable to hit the target. It would be instructive to see you doing a proper toss bomb in BOMB RR mode (even if you miss the runway). Anyway, thanks again for making videos for my favourite DCS plane!

I've just managed to hit a single SA-15 with this method. I'm completely taken aback at how a supposedly innacurate bombing procedure managed that lol! Not so innacurate afterall!
The mistake you made was using PLAN mode when you actually want to use LUFT/RR for this mode. This way, the computer will release the bombs at the right point

I think a 48 Viggen formation doing toss bombing would work 4 km away.
The real E1 unit trained to reach the target at the exact time using radio silence with 48 Viggens.

It was up to 6 km away and the climbing angle was 42 degrees. If I remember right... It was some years ago.

Nils, the BK90 is a more modern weapon so this was more “used” when BK90 didn’t exist.
While you can use BK90, this has a certain entertainment value.
