to me it's like a watered down, more accessible version of tarkov, especially with the performance and the huge amount of QoL features, and it being f2p
i think many people (especially busy people) would love to get into this instead of spending a lot of time/money to learn/play tarkov
i got access to the beta and i'm also really impressed so far
My frames went awful in the next 3-5 raids
For now. Until it’s released and its pay to win.. then it doesn’t deliver

Thats not an agument regarding the actual game. It simply isnt that good and it does not matter how much "better" the developers are
It doesnt matter if u pour 20 bucks on it. Cuz no matter how geared u are, you'll get killled even if you wore the toppest armor in the game xd

I would say yes since I’ve put more hours into this than grayzone. Grayzone had a rough launch but I do like it and I’m excited for the future of it.
They even went with "legally distinct" tarkov music lol.
Looks good but I'm juat really put off by chinese devs . I know it ruffled your feathers last time I commented on this being Chinese but I don't think it is unreasonable for anyone to be skeptical or careful when dealing with chinese devs .
I think the track record of chinese companies and government speaks for itself . People sort of expect certain things from them. It isn't a stupid or unreasonable thing to be reprehensive about .
Like how much of our money goes to the ccp that then puts Uyghurs in death camps for just living in China ? Or how likely it would be that something currupt like the devs letting an entire group they own cheat in the game they made to run RMT as a business adjacent to their own game they sold? Not a far fetched possibility when dealing with these people .
Looks good , but I gotta see that monetization and how the cheating and rmt plays out . Then think about the ccp laws with their companies and if I would be inclined to support that with my money even good time.
I get that not everyone cares about anything but escapism but you can't get upset or dismissive of anyone who has questions and apprehension.
Firstly, I don’t recall getting my feathers ruffled at all. I simply said they own a stake in discord so if you feel that strongly about it then you might want to refrain from using discord as well.
Secondly, politics aside, I get what you’re saying and agree completely. If you choose to not support it for your own reasons that’s totally okay. I’m simply giving my opinion on the game and the gameplay.
@@slickumss I would like to point out that there is a huge difference in a company that has a investment from chinese investors and an actual chinese owned company in china answering to the CCP by law.
Tencent is only 1 of 30 investors in discord , and discord is a privately owned company by its founder .
Tencent has some influence in decisions with a minority share in the company but they do not own it , it is not chinese , and discord is not based in China where they answer to the CCP . Microsoft has mad offers to buy it for which he has turned down the offers so far but it is privately owned and tencent does not own discord .

@@DummyThinksThoughts I never said they owned discord. I assumed with your logic that you were like the whole “bud light” situation where people were trashing bud light while also drinking coors. If that assumption is wrong (which it seems like it is) then my apologies.
I’m not gonna debate politics or details and it’s obvious you’re very knowledgeable about this particular topic, I’m just here to share gameplay and my thoughts. That’s all.

@@slickumss just to be clear chinese investment money is in our food source so if anyone takes that approach they better make a garden . But there is a difference in ownership , actually china based , and somewhere they may be a chinese penny in it .
And just to clairfy I do like your content and I do think the gameplay looks good , I'm just saying we gotta keep a eye on these guys . That is all I'm saying and people may want to think about purchases with them

It shocked me for sure. I was definitely expecting it to run pretty rough and be really clunky. But it’s very smooth.

Yeah tarkov is a mess right now but this game would not have anywhere near as much hype as it does if it wasn't for the release of unheard edition, but in my opinion Arena breakout is HEAVILY "Inspired" by tarkov, it has all the armor, grips, guns Ect.
I agree. I still think it would perform well regardless of the tarkov situation, but it definitely helped. Heavily inspired, yes. But these are real guns and attachments, so that topic is up for debate.
