I am kay naidoo i have been watching 7nde laan since i was in high school i didnt understand afrikaans so well then . But i use to fight with everyone at home when it was time for 7nde laan . They always told me to watch the repeat next day on sabc 3 . I was sent to work in bloemfontein and i learned the language and from then on 7nde laan was even more addictive to me . I am really sad that its ended. Thankyou for the tribute to 7nde laan. All the best to the cast may the lord open doors for all of you moving forward.❤❤❤

The reason they kept the news until last two hours ,is because they didnt want the producers and people to put they heads together to come up with a plan to solve the issue..i thought i would get old with 7ndelaan and with new characters to slowly replace the exiting ones.
Its was devasting i did joy watch the last episode i thought my son afrikaans when he wasi n school n i have learnt it as well i did well in afrikaans b pass

I watched 7de Laan since 2003 and stopped at around 2017-2018. It just became unbearable to watch. I started hating it and only watched out of habit. You could tell there were some serious issues going on behind the scenes. The soapie should've ended years ago, in my opinion. It just went on for way too long.
I definitely love the newer seasons of 7de laan I know alot of people like the older seasons but if you watch it it's somewhat the same drama but they changed up the storyline. It's the same writers that is still writing the new episodes.

7de Laan definitely helped many with Afrikaans, especially because it was conversational, something a language text book can never do 💛
