Parenting tip: tell her “ thank you for reminding me” shows that you recognize it IS something you need to do, and removes some of the perceived “hypocrisy” . She may be pleasantly surprised for a positive reaction as well
Yes to this!! It also helps the kids know that they’re not catching you being “bad” by not doing whatever the thing is. Just that you’re busy and forgot. Also great for when you have to remind them of things as they get older. They’ll take it as you being helpful rather than nagging.
Pro-tip: this approach works in the office as well. Don't apologize for forgetting or being late - thank them for reminding you or for waiting. We don't need to apologize for being human, but it's nice to thank people for trying to help - even if they aren't trying to help. Lol

She said ain’t it’s a cucks word. She broke with her baby daddy because he was a cuck she saying ?? That’s why she hates the word.
Yeah this seems a bit ... Wrong to teach a child idk just my opinion but I wouldn't teach my kid that it's EVER ok to call someone "gross" or call them "ignorant" for speaking differently
My mom hates when I use her words against her😂
I mean you’re just do so well as a parent that she is just trying to learn your tactics. 😂😂😂
I feel you. I have an eight year old girl as well and yeah I get my attitude right back. My mom always said I would get what was coming to me so yeah here we are😂
Good. Kids teach you more about your flaws than therapy ever will. Listen to her. Treat her with respect. You have a daughter who knows how to stand up for herself which is amazing. Don’t take that for granted.
The word "Aint" actually IS very much a word. IT'S LITERALLY IN THE DICTIONARY..
You’re raising her well !!
Gurl is holding you accountable, love it!
FOR HER FANS: love you so much abbey! But as a person of African descent. I just wish you would educate yourself as a white privileged person that you are. I have a son who does say ain’t .. and ain’t is a word in AFRICAN AMERICAN VERNACULAR ENGLISH. please, educate yourself and your daughter for your subscribers of color/minorities. Pls don’t be one of the racist ones too.
That’s when my parents would say “Do as I say not as I do”
Forever grateful that of my 3 my oldest is my only girl. That oldest girl is a beast of her own.
“Aint” is a gross word, but “Cucky” isn’t? 💀😭
I think she said cocky
You have a problem with “ain’t” Yet you let her say really bad curse words? Hypocrisy.
Love that for her honestly
Your hair is so pretty
your the reason why my mom kept going❤
I think you’re just brilliant ❤
OMG you are so pretty and the best mom ever
Girl I LOVE ur hair ❤
I love your sweater!
She’s got the sass and I love it😂
Ain't is a word. A very beautiful one at that.
Your hair is beautiful
Everyone else: “ain’t is a word”
Me: “why are her lips two different colors??”
Your hair looks so smooth
You realize the power of your own words and that is a very important lesson as a mom
Ain’t is part of every country kids life example; did you get that lawn mower runnin, naw it ain’t started yet there bud mmmmhhhhhmmm
Yep, they give it right back! Do as I say not as I do right 😂😂😅
I feel this hun. I feel you

is no one noticing how pretty her hair is!!!
It’s a good thing!! she’s keeping you in check 😂 as a parent you will always catch yourself being a hypocrite and then your like fuck they got me again!!
Bout to be a girl mom on December and honestly can’t wait for this 😊 idk it’s nice to not be the only one keeping routine even if it’s just small parts
i had my baby girl 2 weeks ago through c section, she’s almost 30 weeks now and she’s already so stubborn and feisty 🤣😭 preparing myself for the rest of my life i have ahead of me with this crazy girl lol
The tears at the end ❤
Thats good. Good parents learn and improve and pay attention 😂❤
my 5 year old girl is something else too. But they truly are little sponges that just sponges up their surroundings and doing what kids gone do😂 cutest sassiest kids ever and I do not blame em
Gurl I am struggling. Lmfao. So I work in the field and due to moving from Lynn to Danvers, I was able to stick with the same company and just got transferred from RS at a halfway house to RS at a CSS. I wasn't prepared for how different & difficult it is. I'm also in recovery, since Oct 1st 2018... the disrespect from clients is unreal, like no way in hell would I talk to staff like they talk to us back in the day u would get kicked out frfr. I'm questioning if I even wanna be in the field anymore. My goal is to get into Case Management... I've been RS since 2020. I know so many ppl who quit and I don't want that for me...idk I'm just venting. Thx. Much love! Merry Xmas!
💯 the struggle is real 🤦♀️😭🤣
OMG this is sooo accurate 😂😂😂😂 we are not okay! Lmao 🤣
Oh my god I’m just realizing how you and Myla look so alike! You guys have the best channel I’ve ever seen
As someone with a mom, it's the integrity and the pestering that i saw growing up. Later, i saw that it was mostly love and well placed.
Kids, can and will remember everything at the young ages.
I love ur accent xx
😂 I just love how our kids make us eat our own words/expectations sometimes. Lol
i’m from northeastern Alabama, “ain’t” is DEFINITELY a frequent in my vocabulary
