about how heavy is the kate spade chelsea large vs your larger longchamp nylon totes? about same weight or significantly heavier? thank you!

I'd say you can definitely notice that the Kate Spade tote is heavier, but I don't think it's significantly more heavy! This is likely in part due to the thicker nylon as well as all of the internal organization. I think if you start to add bag organizers in the Longchamp totes, it begins to feel closer to the Kate Spade, and once you fill them both up, the difference is probably not noticeable!
