Herman Deinum was and still is one of my bass heroes of all time. He inspired me to pick up the bass, which I still play today. I bought the album Friction in 1979 and still listen to it frequently. Sweet d'Buster is an epic band to me. No other band in The Netherlands made music that I've been listening to for so many years without getting bored. Shame they didn't last very long.

Absoluut prachtig. In 1979. Wat een geluid. Niemand die het hem nadoet ❤

Love your knowledge. It brought up all kind of sweet memories. I think Herman is the best Bassplayer of The Netherlands. He played in Sweet D'buster and that was unique Dutch band. All tpoplayers. Thank you for this post.

Hi Chris, unfortunally Herman never released any solo albums. But check out these 4 Sweet 'D Buster ones, they are the closest to a Herman Deinum solo album 😁
