Hi there, How do I add second member to my LLC 50/50 owners. I live in Georgia and it seems that the ammendment article of organization only allows me to make LLC name change? It seems that state of Georgia doesnt require and doesn't have that option to make any changes to LLC ? Thank you

Hello what about if you started the company together but we didn't know how to add both of us at the time because we filed for our LLC by ourselves. So even though we put partnership it only has one person name.
You may be able to correct that by filing an amendment to your articles of organization. Depends on your state though. It's best to talk to a lawyer who is licensed in your state!
*Form 8832, Entity Classification Election:* used to to elect how it will be classified for federal tax purposes, as a corporation, a partnership, or an entity disregarded as separate from its owner.
I thought operating agreement is not a required document, it's for the governing of the company. Why would the state be requiring that you change anything regarding to the operating agreement?

My husband just started a single member LLC for a trucking business. His truck, trailer and checking account everything is under the LLC. If something happened to him if he dies what right do I have to sell the truck and equipment. We poured everything in this business.
