Yunhi drama dialogue and story well written. Enjoying it. The hypocrisy of our culture. The wrong values that we call adab and riwayat given by forefathers that are blindly being followed and forced on women. Kudos to the writer. Hum is coming back with good content that we hoped and expected. 👏🏼👏🏼
The first half of the episode was so so sweet and after that, all hell broke loose. I agree with Suraya, such things need to be handled carefully in our society and Kim's tactlessness has expedited matters in the worst possible way. She means well, but is always in a hurry to bring everything out into the open without any care for the consequences. She put across some great arguments though and I hope that she would be able to bring about a change in the attitude of Dada Ji. This episode belonged to Maya. She portrayed the 50 shades of Kim beautifully. I hope there's more of Daud in the next episode and that he handles the situation wisely. It would be great if Kim and Daud could work in tandem instead of at odds.
I'm loving Suraya's portrayal of a girl who's terribly cinflicted due to her upbringing. The actir had truly brought this character's pain to life.
I agree with Surayya that the situation could have been handled differently and more cautiously. And you are right; Surayya has really performed so well that one could feel and understand what she is going through.

Bruh Dada Ji is such a toxic character. He's so dominating. It actually shows how elders do whatever 'they' think is right and nobody's let to inquire because it's the 'elders' you know. They pull up the victim card when inquired and wouldn't tolerate anyone trying to go against 'their' decisions.
As a hopelessly romantic, I can watch the roof conversation scene and the breakfast romance all day. Beautifully crafted scenes and magically performed.
And I love Maya sooooooo much. My Jaaan🥺♥️

They made this drama with a very smooth and low tone. Even when any character is shouting it does not feel like he/she is shouting. The message through the story of drama conveys very well.

This is a good drama. The only thing that's wrong is that in America people don't call their older relatives by their first name., no matter which culture their parents are from. They call them Auntie or Uncle and then their first name. So Kim would really call Razia "Auntie Razia."
Exactly 💯 that's what I thought. I never heard ppl saying their aunts and uncles with their names.
Oh please, in the same America, kids sometimes even call their parents by their names once they're older.
And it is pretty common to call relatives by their names. Only close relatives whom they've grown up with would be addressed by their roles like, "Aunt Mary" , "Uncle Joe" etc. For almost all other cases using first names is the norm.
Using Auntie or Uncle for everyone is such a South Asian, South American and sometimes rural European thing.
And before you say that Kim is of Pakistani descent, she grew up with American values and lifestyle rather than that of her South Asian heritage. So, take a chill pill on that.

When I saw Kim serving her father in law with a dietary breakfast, i wish that i could do the same for my ex father in law. I really liked him and started treating him like a father, and he liked me too. I really wished that i could live with my in laws in india, as thats where they live currently. Im in the US, and i wish that i had the opportunity to live with them. I also have a jeth and his family too, i really loved and miss all of them. I also wanted them to know that even though i was born and raised in America, i am very desi at heart. But my husband pre planned everything and only married me for a green card, and he threw me out of the house a few months after marriage.

I asked my relative who is a lawyer and she said that if I do too much against him then everything will come back to me and I will get in trouble they ask for evidence and I do have it but my lawyer says it's not enough. The police here in America also does nothing. I can't even get protection from him, sometimes I am scared he will come to me and hurt me. But I'm stuck in a pretty bad situation.

In this society pasand ki shaadi k liye a girl usually needs to be independent and having a good career tbh. Two of my female cousins both living in the same family. One is jobless currently and everyone keeps looking for a rishta for her without even asking her if she likes the boy or not. The other girl is a doctor and everyone in her family keeps asking her that she should find a good guy for herself. Infact her mom and her aunts keep asking her if she has a boyfriend, she should bring him home and fix their marriage 😂😂 She keeps telling them she doesn't have one but she actually has a boyfriend whom she has been dating since school. Lucky them, they will have no problem. They can get married whenever they want to. So girlsss focus on your career😂😂😂👍
Not it always work out with everyone. Sometimes girls with career are also forced to get married as they think that girl might go out of hand. Families won't leave their daughter go to abroad or any city out of their hometown alone as they think that girl will fall in love with a guy whom they won't like. Not every time decision is in our hand even if we wanna make a good decision we aren't even able to do it because of socalled fate and emotional blackmailing.
