I really enjoy this brand. I own five bottles. They market most of their fragrances by gender, but I find them all unisex. I particularly love the Oud line. "Oud" unofficially refers to all woods in most Arabic countries; so the word Oud in the names doesn't necessarily imply that they possess the natural characteristics of Agarwood. They are just really great woody fragrances. Great brand review as per usual.
Atkinsons is so underrated! I enjoy a bunch of their fragrances and they aren’t priced terribly for a niche brand. Pirates Grand Reserve is definitely a favourite too. Great video!
No one ever talks about Atkinson’s, but Oud Save the Queen is one of my signature scents forever!!! I absolutely love it. I even sometimes wear it to bed by myself when I want to feel extra cozy 😂😂, even though it’s way too expensive for that. C’est la vie!

I'm talking about the Gold line. Was browsing at a mall here in Sydney few years ago and came across this brand. Tried Oud Save the King/Oud Save the Queen and His Majesty Oud. Immediately fell in love with Oud save the king. Bought it right away. Trust me, I had not even heard of the brand at that time. But later found out that, it was a high end clone (or at least inspired by) Scentstory 24 Gold which costs a fraction of the price. Was heartbroken! 😀 Wanted to buy Pirates, but wasn't sure of the longevity. Now that I know, I'm gonna! and btw, cute outfit!
A clone ??? I can’t believe this 😅 I’ll have to investigate because Atkinsons is litterally iconic in here and wouldn’t believe they look so closely to others before creating But interesting enough I’m curious about that scentstory! Thanks for sharing !

It's been a remarkable learning experience. One insight that I independently arrived at, which later aligned with your perspective, is the idea of not settling for perfumes that are "almost" what I'm looking for in terms of scent profile. I'm not referring to dupes, but rather, even when considering good designer and niche perfumes, I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather continue my search until I find the exact match for "my perfect" tea scent, or "my perfect" combination of coconut, sandalwood, and gaiac wood, or "my perfect" vanilla. Instead of accumulating several "close but not quite" options, I prefer the pursuit of that one fragrance that perfectly matches my preferences. I don't want to buy to declutter... I want small collection of perfect to me scent profiles! However, my enthusiasm is somewhat tempered by the looming regulations in the perfume industry. I'm anxious that my "perfect" vanilla scent might already exist, undiscovered by me, but due to these regulations, it could be discontinued or altered beyond recognition. The stress is very real! 😅
Love oud save the king, it’s the only one I own but I’ll have to pop in to harrods and smell pirates grand reserve before I head off to Shanghai on my adventure. Cheers CC🎉🥂

Hello Clemence!!, I received my samples today, I really wanted to try "Oud save the queen" and it reminded me a lot of "Dior Addict edp (2012)". Have you noticed the similarity?
Ah really? I think the point is not to be beast mode here but more like an elegant sillage, I wouldn’t say weak because the ones I’ve tried were long lasting, and project beautifully especially pirate grand reserve. But it’s not maximum projection for sure, elegant sillage. Just what you need
