I will also be announcing a new Discord server called oilCommunity. The oilCommunity will be focusing on sneak-peaks of projects that I am working on.
I would like to give you some recommendations on the new anti piracy screen. Its like only 1 or 2 tips but they might make the anti piracy message more real.
I would make the apm like,
"You are running a pirated version of Roblox. You're account(s) will be terminated and you will no longer be welcome on the Roblox website. If you think this is a mistake please contact roblox support at www.roblox.com › support

This genuinely gave me chills, simply because it was believable. No jumpscares. No threats. Just straight to the point, with some well-chosen music to drive it home. If I were a kid playing Roblox and saw this, I'd run crying to my parents. That's a compliment.

This is actually really well-made! I'm impressed, seeing as most "anti-piracy" screens are super poorly done. I can tell you put a lot of effort into this. The fact that you actually mentioned IPA files and actual jailbreaks makes it that much more authentic. Oh, and the recovery mode screen at the end was a nice touch. +1 subscriber for ya :D
Why are most fan-made anti piracy screens just full of blood, with the characters being dead/badly injured/maimed/horribly mutilated/covered in blood/decapitated/etc, like a creepypasta?

i quite enjoyed this anti piracy video a lot, but i think if roblox for some reason wanted to put this in their game, then i suggest that they change it to be finding TOS breaking stuff, *on the website.* and if your thinking “oh it will still crash the game”, then well for my idea, dont think about that because it wont be there. it could really improve their moderation but they *obviously wont add it,* because you know. but overall the video was good, not like “you pirated our game? **shows the main character of the game getting executed** “which is a good thing

It would be literally impossible for it to detect for exploits that were previously injected and if it corrupted the OS, they could be sued for device damage. The exploits are only saved in temporary storage, especially on mobile where it can't access every file as it doesn't have high permissions

This is incredible!you got the font correct,the loading icons correct and it actually seemed real.and the crash was done well too.This would make sense with some tweaks to wording maybe as a anti hacking wave counter or a free robux counter.
this is one of the better anti-piracy screens, where they don't try to scare the hell out of you
the recovery mode screen at the end was a nice thing too
and the fact that you mentioned .ipa files and jailbroken versions of iPadOS adds a little to it too

this is how an anti piracy actually should be, no jumpscares, no gore or disturbing stuff, no bugging/lagging really crazy, its just a simples message telling you that the game is pirated like how an actual game should
The fact that it says that it is a pirated IPA file just makes it so much more realistic.
Also you cant report the file if your Ipad crashed???

I can imagine that Roblox would do the Anti-Piracy check every year which makes all people playing a game or developing a game would have to stop what they are doing and go through the check,
it would be even worse if the detection went wrong for everyone and straight up deletes their whole operating system

Nice one, most "anti piracy screens" I have seen try to be scary and the game gets "corrupted" but this one, this one seamed so real that I genuinely thot that it was real.

Technically, recovery mode is not a brick, you can use iTunes (or Finder on newer Macs) to restore, but your data will be gone. It's a bit like reinstalling Windows.

very realistic and the entire piracy video is accurate to roblox’s user interface, except for the having the device being locked by apple part. the sideloaded roblox wouldve automatically deleted itself or locking your roblox account temporarily, and a jailbroken ipad or iphone has their warranty being removed as a result rather than locking it.
yeah, jailbreaking your device is protected by the DMCA, so apple would be in violation of that if they bricked your device

With the "Anti Piracy" checking for modified client files, injected exploits, and jailbroken detection, I personally feel like that the more accurate title would be "Roblox mobile Anti-Cheat"
good title yeah but that is definitely NOT gonna be the title of an anti piracy screen., how?, this guy pirated the game (means re code the game and upload it to the public) and used an jailbroken (hacked version) of ipadOS.
And piracy is the same meaning of "pirating a game" so that is why they called it "anti piracy".

If im being honest, this has to be one of the best fanmade anti-piracy screens ive seen, alot of these fanmade anti-piracy screens i see on the internet is just literal nightmare fuel with the characters getting k3lled and stuff, i also like how the piracy screen actually looks almost the same as the Roblox App menu

Obviously this is fake as he mentioned, but here are some slip ups that any tech geek would notice. Roblox isn’t a paid game. Roblox never would care if your jailbroken so long as there isn’t a injected dll, which at that point it would self crash. The part where the iPad reboots makes no sense, as no apps should have kernel access other than cydia or Sileo or zebra or any tweaks, unless you have it kernel access which is dumb and pointless, and without kernel access that means roblox legit cannot power off your device. Just what I noticed, keep the great work up and I’m excited to see what’s next here!
The kernel access part wasnt Roblox itself, it was Apple locking the device from Roblox reporting it.
Just a theory though.

The most Roblox would do is ban your account for cheating, or hardware ban you on that specific device, as the guy above mentioned, Roblox does not care if your device is Jailbroken/Rooted, as long as you aren't cheating
@@zaqr7222 Roblox could report the device but apple wont respond to it in like 10 seconds.
Jailbreak apps and tweaks _can_ respring your device, but that's technically not a reboot as it's just killing SpringBoard (essentially the iOS analogue to Windows Explorer).

The Anti-piracy BG music sounded like some of these old roblox music from 2007 or 2008 But Slower BPM
The only thing I didn't like is the sliding of the text from the conclusion of if the test has been passed, but the loading icon and the recovery screen were nice touches.

The fact how the app erases your entire system files is just pure rage inflicting.
Technically the Roblox app wouldn't have permission to erase system files... unless you have a jailbreak installed and you gave it permission to do that. Seeing as the iPad is supposedly jailbroken, this is plausable.

It just goes on recovery mode which you can easily exit by holding the volume up and home button for 15 seconds at the same time
@@zCoats Yeah but the device can also enter recovery due to missing or damaged iOS system files. In this case, doing that would reboot the iPad, but would send you right back to recovery due to missing iOS files.

The end was completely legit. For roblox to crash the ipad causes it to reboot. and if ur unlucky, the os would be completely wiped. Overall this was a good concept
nah it just booted into recovery mode. hold the power and volume buttons and you’lol be back at the home screen
It was not by a lucky chance, it is to the fact that Roblox reported the iPad to apple so they lock it (1:14)
If it was as on iPad it would most likely just kick you out of the app and return you to the Home Screen
that's not how it works, fortunately. an application crashing would not cause the OS to reboot or wipe itself/enter recovery mode. unless it has incredibly high privileges, there is no chance.

This person manage to replica tge UI system of Roblox, the font is correct, the loading screen is correct. It looks realistic because the person when tapping the button, it becomes GREY, just like Roblox's mobile UI
This person managed to replica to KIND but SERIOUS personallity of Roblox, sometimes a little bit SINISTER. Personally, when I got banned, Roblox was kindly taking it seriously, and I got super scared.

The one thing not a lot of people understand is that pirating does not just mean getting something for free (illegally) when it is otherwise paid for. It also includes stuff like third-party accounts/clients, exploits, etc.

I remember one time I tried to download Roblox on my computer from a random website and when it installed it gave me a weird message that said something like “YAY YOU INSTALLED ROBLOX!” It didn’t really bother me at the time since the game ran smoothly, but looking back at it, I may have installed a hacked or bootleg version. The website itself didn’t really seem super sketchy, at least not to 8 year-old me.
