이게 경기대(수원캠퍼스) 가을축제인데, 2012년 9월입니다. 강남스타일이 빌보드 2위까지 치고 올라가기 직전의, 말그대로 가장 뜨겁고 핵폭탄급 이슈였던 시점에, 싸이가 잠~깐 한국 들어와서 보여준 첫 라이브였죠. 경기대 입장에선 적당한 페이로 몇 달 전에 섭외해놓았을 텐데, 생각지도 못한 초메가 히트가 터지면서 개핵이득 봤구요. 관객들도 가장 미쳐있던 때였고, 댄서들도 당시 미국활동 같이 했던 멤버 그대로였습니다.
이때 경기대 수원캠 신입생이었는데 싸이 강남스타일 메가히트치고 미국에서 귀국하자마자 첫 일정이 경기대 대학축제였음ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 축제 첫날로 기억하는데, 이때 수원지역 웬만한 대학학생들은 물론이고 지역 주민들도 엄청와서 아예 학교가 마비였었음ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 심지어 저기 학생들 서있는 곳이 돌로 만든 스탠스였는데, 담날 아침 곳곳에 스탠스 박살난곳 엄청많았었음ㅋㅋㄱㅋㅋㅋㅋ

It actually happens in Korea quite often... even lesser known artists perform at universities to be honest but the crowds really love it when the more popular artists perform there. ^^
I'm American and do not speak Korean and i know the whole KOREAN lyrics!!! I listen and do the dance every day at least 8 times. i do know the real dance and how he does it!!!!!!! I Most Absolutely Positively Vote Up for Psy and hope that he has a wonderful honor of the #1 M/V on RUclips. I do not know Psy but i KNOW that he is one of the most nicest men, I just know. And to all the people who hate on him, That is your opinion, But don't Spam that Option of throwing it in Psy's "face". thx Psy
I agree. we take concerts for granted here. its especially true with south american crowds, they love rock and roll. many american bands will go there to film their live shows for dvd's, because the crowds look better on film over there. they go nuts.
i wish psy would visit every country in the world.... my country is small so i don't think he would really go to it,but the hope is still rising... My country is called Serbia and it's on the Balcanic Peninsula.
psy what smart stage name specially in korea, when he choose this name he doesn't know that one day he become a doctor of dozen of idols groups whith are more handsome younger taller than him but they can't reach his level. psy can cure their jealousy.
Considering the plague of new boy bands that have been killing what's left of pop music after the Bieber-pocalypse, Psy has renewed my faith that there's good to be found in the genre, even if I need a translator to appreciate the commentary within ^_^

첫라이브는 아니고 두번째 라이브에요 이날 축제공연 직전에 다른학교 먼저 갔다가 왔었어요
다 공감하는데 댄서 얘기는 앞뒤가 안맞네요. 한국에서 뮤비촬영, 방송활동 처음부터 같이하던 댄서들이니 당연히 미국까지 같이 갔다왔죠.
이걸 실제로 봤다는게 참ㅋㅋㅋ 경기대 바로 아래살아서 싸이온다는얘기에 엄청뛰어갔죠

I've seen other videos of him performing and the crowd is twice the size of this one.
You have to realise this song would be practically sacred to that crowd, they would know the dance long before that concert.
