I drove a whiteblock 39 miles (over an hour) with pretty bad rod knock. No idea how long the previous owner had been driving it like that. Found a chunk missing from a piston when I took it apart. Buuuuut it still had oil pressure 😂

@@groundsalt2199 My 940 turbo ran the temp gauge to red for 100+ times before the headgasket blew. Ofc I shut off everytime it reaches red, but still. pretty durable engines.

"Oh no there's a hole in the block"
"Aww man now I have to push this thing back"
Who could've possibly foreseen this series of events?
the fact it still ran for a little while with that hole in there lol
Theres a guy who ran a 240 for about 15 minutes with 2 holes in the block, no oil or coolant 😂
that's still very little rust, I wouldn't consider that a beater yet.
it would be dope if you 1UZ swapped a volvo, it looks like the shop has a bunch of sc400/430s sitting around
"Just takin' my car for a walk" You're hilarious! Another good vid.
No sweat, it's a rod knock life.
yo mate long time ago, nice to see u keeping doing videos🤙
You squeezed every drop O Gravy out this Bolbo!
Hell yea. I’m waiting on bearing for my 2.5L penta swap. Appreciate the gravy
As a swedish person this makes me sad
As a Swede, this makes me kränkt.
Jag blir jävla förbannad helt enkelt… helt dum i huvudet…
As a Swede it could have been fixed. Just get a new oil pump and a little thicker oil, drive 10 more years
Where's your o2 sensor? Check engine light will illuminateif it's disconnected.
i think the holes are a easy repair 👌🏻i live in Austria and almost all old cars have so much rust😢
Drove a B230FT with about half a litre of oil for a few pulls and a bit of commuting before realising. It had about 180bhp with a 13c @ 0.8 bar.
soo much volvo gravy! just bought a 945 LTT
What happened to the 12v

You can glue them block pieces back together and get some more outa her....
I have always been curious how long u can drive without coolant. Just normal driving without abusing it.
I had to make it to and from work (60 kms / 1hr 20 mins) on around like 1/4 of the coolant remaining
@groundsalt2199 it didnt overheat?
@@farbrorjosn nope somehow not lol but I was being extremely careful and ginger. I definitely wouldn't do it again haha
