It doesnt look like the block is painted orange, it looks more like it's rusted
I freaking want this R/T Scat Pack so badly! I'm not even a Mopar guy and I love this Challenger. I know it doesn't handle as well as the Camaro SS & Mustang 5.0, but it still ripped around the skid pad @ 0.90G (Avg) in Motor Trend, and 0.91G (Avg) in Car And Driver, which is better than 90% of the cars on the road. My old SVT Contour went around the pad at 0.88G and that was one of the best handling cars I've ever owned. That thing felt like it was on rails actually. I'm amazed that this R/T bettered my SVT. So for a daily driven street car, this new Challenger handles really well. The 485 HP 6.4L 392 HEMI V8 that got this beast to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and down the 1/4 mile in 12.6 @ 114+ mph, topping out at 172 mph isn't too shabby either. I like that this Scat Pack had a lower as tested price than both the SS & 5.0, plus you have usable room front and rear to relax and cruise. I am really impressed with this 2015 R/T Scat Pack. I'll take one with a 6 speed manual and 3.90 gears to start :) Nice work Dodge!

Cooley is a great reviewer no doubt about it but I think Goodwin is good too. I think its unfair for the people to start disliking the video just because Cooley didnt do it.... Just saying
Good review on a badass Muscle Car! The 392 is the sweet spot in the Challenger lineup, and I actually prefer the 8 Speed TF because it is amazing in Sport and Track Modes.
Personally, I'd rather pick a manual in any sports car or muscle car at that, don't get me wrong I love an automatic too, but something about banging them gears in just gives you an adrenaline rush. It truly makes it a better car driving experience. Yes I stopped watching when he said he prefers an auto in it to rant real quick. Save the manuals!

The manual trans would really make this car awesome to drive, but I also can see the eight speed auto being fun also. The A8 would make the car quicker 0-60 and in the 1/4 mile.

I feel each reviewer should be assigned to a certain type of vehicle. This guy is good for Lexus trucks and shit, but you need a badass to review a naughty muscle car. Just my opinion, tho.

Last muscle car standing? You got that right. The new Stang looks like some euro pos. The Camaro looks Japanese. Those aren't necessarily bad things, but if you want a muscle car the Challenger sure as hell is the only muscle car.

Not bad at all considering I was expecting a much higher starting price where in which I would've told Dodge to shove it but this power for about $37k minus the extra bells & whistles is pretty good.

6.4 L Engine on a 2015 Dodge = 485 HP
5.0 L Engine on a 2006 BMW M5 = 500 HP
Engineering on BMW's is so much more advanced it is ridiculous.
You're comparing the engine of a $82K V10 (and that's being nice) to a $35K V8. You get what you pay for with both. If I was wealthy and had a family is take the M5 though.
The M5 is a twin turbo. When you used forced induction on Dodge's V8 you end up with the 707 HP Hellcat.

I really don't understand why manual lovers swear that their preference is the ONLY one that matters. The automatic in today's Challengers is quicker, better on gas, and you still get the manual option. Driving a manual doesn't make you cooler than anybody else. "Oh, look at me! I know how to depress the clutch and change gears!" Lol ... I can too, and I do it well, but I picked the auto on my ordered Scat Pack. That's my prerogative.
OffDaChainChico7 so true... I hate when manual drivers claim that "real petrolheads only drive manuals." don't get me wrong I love a good manual, but the truth is that automatics are faster, easier, and more fuel efficient. Especially dual clutches, I LOVE dual clutches!!
