I LOVE the part at 2:00. I feel this part represents the building up and outburst of a break down, and a desperate attempt to suppress it by forcing happiness. Definitely feel the "agony" from the title coming through
@TheKarsynExperience It could be both -- could have meaning for some, could not have meaning to others. Could have meaning to the author, or have no meaning at all. We can't ever know unless the author themselves says something about it, and even then, interpreting meaning in things is subjective. Ain't no helping that. :)
The section at 2:00 just perfectly captures the feeling of having a brief outburst of impotent rage and frustration. 25 seconds of screaming, pounding your desk and cursing the sky before reality sets back in, nothing's really changed.
This feels like a day that is supposed to be all bright and sunny and happy and no matter what you do you can't seem to fit the atmosphere and at 2:00 is like you try extremely hard to act happy and all it does is frustrate you and you eventually stop trying
Basically me during summer, having no school is cool but i have that ""feeling"" where by having nothing to distract me from worrying i end up in a loop of never ending mental pain
It sounds like when I went to Fresno California, it was pretty hot, and sometimes while driving everything looks wavy In other words, this song sounds really wavy
The whimsical tones shifting ever-so-slightly and consistent drums fit the atmosphere people describe, of a very happy day that you just can't seem to enjoy. This looming frustration, I believe, is best represented by the angry bassline, continuing to fluctuate even as the track progresses joyously. I expected 2:00 to be much more powerful, since people describe it as the breaking down point, but I see it a different way, I see the harmonizing and the upbeat tones as finally syncing with the world, and finding your happiness. Like Thanks, this is a track that has a much different tone than its title, and I welcome it. The tones on this one feel a little mysterious, a little mischievous, and I think it's a fantastically made lil tune.
there's that patented drum pattern again. in fact, these drums sound exactly the same as the ones from "redwood highway," which is one of my favorite of his alias's tracks. this track seems a bit lost, though. i think it fits the name in the way that agony defines an ackward or uncomfortable situation, as evidenced by the overuse of accidentals. i think this one will grow on me.
same here, I first heard it and it sounded kinda "eh" to me. Not bad though, especially the really peppy and cheery bits that are around the middle and near the end of the track.
sorta. mister has definitely gone more experimental with sounds synths and samples and whatnot but unfortunately its almost like he got cocky because of that. the tiny middle segment sounds really nice but everything else just sounds a lil too whacky with not necessarily enough goodness. but it still sounds cool so thats good.
@@jacobthesomething well not to me, but I listen to Aphex Twin who tends to do more stuff like that, so it doesn't sound that unsusual to me and I enjoy it

Well I was just in the ER because of "thoughts" and after having the i.v in my arm I have finally found a pice of music that encapsulates all that I felt
This song speaks to the deep frustration I feel sometimes, I play it whenever I feel stuck and it makes me feel better I feel like maybe pilotredsun thought the same thing when he made this song, and maybe I can get over this
@@xfys0 I have another question to add to your collection... is it ridged? a Ridged casino. A Ridged Casino. nah, something about it sounds off, maybe it's the "d" or the "i" that's wrong
This sounds like you're having a hard time being happy so you try to think of the past, but the past also sucks and you try to desperately think of the good things you remember from that time.
It feels like such a modest and quiet agony, like a horribly awkward/embarrassing situation, or like sitting and staring at the clock as your essay deadline slowly creeps closer and you only have a single paragraph.
full hd ducks

for a track called "agony" this is surprisingly comforting

you go on funny clown man, be deep
@@KinoPhora thank you, you are right!
i think its more like being bored and you let you imagination flow at 2:00 and then back to normal
reminds me of school
don't listen to the haters above. if everyone had the "the curtains are blue because they're blue" attitude the world would be a very sad place

This song feels like grainy cell phone clips of a sunny beach in Florida in 2007.
Definitely.
Almost kinda sounds like stuff I found on a flip phone.

the title and weird low res image combined made me think this was gonna be downright scary for some reason but this is fire

I really like this one of him. it’s almost a little mysterious in a way

Nah, it’s greeber.
I'm not sure if this is intentional but the song feels like it's going to end a few times throughout the song but it doesn't, like real agony.
Thank you very much for uploading these.

sounds like a sorta exploration theme for a otherworldly biome
I prefer this version over the Lonesome james one cause no volume change lol.
