When I first saw promo photos of the Coyish palette, I had an inkling that it wasn't quite as good as the original Coy palette but couldn't quite figure out why. Now that I see your side-by-side swatches, I realize that the softer more pastel tones of the original are more to my taste. Exactly like you said, that washy watercolor effect really gets me. Thanks for the excellent visuals!

Yes!! Well said. For me the Coy palette feels more intuitive to use, between the slightly murkier colors and softer finishes.

This is soo helpful , thank you for being so transparent about the repeat shades ! Definitely agree they should use the same names. Funny because I recently saw the owner comment on IG in reponse to someone that they don't repeat shades ( something along those lines ,which is clearly untrue 😒) . Fantastic, thorough video !! Thank you ❤

I thought I was crazy, I’ve never heard anyone talk about the repeats. I bought a bunch of palettes during their Christmas sale, I depotted, put them all in a couple big palettes and I was flabbergasted at all of the repeats. I thought but they have different names so they must be different? They are not different, just renamed to fit the vibe of the palette. Pretty deceiving if you ask me.

I agree with them repeating the duochrome shades. I feel that they should experiments with more pigments. a true multichrome with their smooth smooth satin texture would be interesting. their pearlescent shades have really good texture and glow Id wish for a multichrome with that texture then I'd rave.......otherwise this palette is only good for like a first time buyer. but not a viseart fan lol. so your right lol XD have sooooo many blue to pink tones between the grande pro 2 and the petit pros.... v...v so many repeats so yeah . I'm just not gonna buy every release even if the mattes speak to me XD. But like i said they should experiment more with shimmers and pigments not just stay the same. we are already paying premium prices when we buy on release. And to have many duplicates when we can remove the pans lol is ugh . still stan their mattes and some of their shimmer formulas. but colorwise they need an update.

I agree! I love the smooth satin texture and would love to see more variety of shifty tones. If they’re gonna do repeat shades I think that they should keep the names the same at the very least.. that way those of us who are deep in the Viseart universe know when it’s something we already have lol

I completely agree, they should label repeats in an obvious way!!

I have no idea what is going on with this brand. I have been feeling like I been duped. The quality definitely is there. These brands think were not paying attention. Thank you for confirming what I already suspected creating such similar shades.

Absolute love it when you do eyelooks in your videos, these ones turned out so gorgeous and are very inspirational to me as per usual 😍 maybe a video idea could be to make a video on your favorite spicy neutral looks or how you like to make colorful but wearable looks 🩷 lots of love from germany

I think it's perfect, so many duochrome shades in one viseart palette ❤
    I'm loving mine.

I have a substantial Viseart collection, as they have my favourite satin formulas. They are perfect for my hooded, ageing eyes. When I saw this palette, my first thought was "I want that yellow/blue shade!". My second thought was "hang on, I have most of these other shades already". I know they sell singles, but I'm in Europe and the cost to import a single shade just isn't worth it (the palettes are available at a few places over here, but the singles need to come directly from the US online store). I'll just keep my fingers crossed that the shade is repeated in a quad somewhere down the line 😆🤞🏻

From what I hear, their formula is actually very well suited for textured eyelids. I’m not quite there yet so I can’t say first hand but it seems repeated often across the beauty RUclips space that viseart is perfect for more maturing eyelids.

I find it frustrating that some colors on the stock photos and packaging aren't even close to the real color. Once I thought I bought a brown and neutral pallet as the packaging and photos showed but it was purple!

Omg yes, I almost bought the theory siren palette thinking it was rosey neutrals and then when I saw the swatches on temptalia they were straight up corals!

Can't begin to imagine what went through their minds at Viseart. Repromotes are bound to happen, but changing the name entirely is very deceptive. I have yet to try Viseart, and other than the price that I find really prohibitory, the formula of the shimmers might not work for my textured lids.

🩺 No one talks about the repeats!!! I don't buy the smaller palettes bc I've known for years they repeat and change the names, thanks to Temptalia. I only buy the large $80 palettes. I know they're expensive but less likely to be repeats.
It's purposefully deceitful. They've been called out for it in the past but still do it. So I don't trust the newer smaller palettes. If there's a repeat, ok - not my preference, but ok. It's the changing the name that pisses me off.
