You can't really compare the crowds that day with any other day because it was a public car event that lots of people heard about. Also, in all the times that I've been spotting, I haven't seen crowds anywhere near as large as that.
I'm probably going to get a lot of negative comments but we live in a sad materialistic society. Ferrari, Lamborgini and many of the other prestige super cars were once a icon and they they look like rice boy ricer cars.
