The Dennis Wheat character was played by Owen Moore. For those who don't know, Mary Pickford's first husband, but he drank and she divorced him to become part of Hollywood's first power couple marrying Douglas Fairbanks Sr.

Marion Davies was a better actor than given credit for. William Randolph Hearst's Cosmopolitan Productions backed the film, and "William Goodrich" (Roscoe Arbuckle) directed while in exile from in front of the camera.

A real rarity, although a music score would probably help. Expect it may still be in copyright...

It seems more like a Wes Anderson film than a real Wes Anderson film . Maybe not as old as puppy long stocking

Interrupted by incessant commercials. No musical score - this movie is for rent on Amazon Prime, so I wonder if there’s music accompaniment to that offer.
Hilarious scene: the 2 males keep observing an interchange of 2 female faces🤣
