I don't think ai will become so advanced so that it can be stored on phone natively. It needs petabytes of data processing to be able to provide with those results. AI features Being built in the ui is impressive imo.

A smartphone costing more than 1 lakh and having heating issues, no fast charging option, only 128 storage option is just not done. I have OnePlus Nord CE3 12/256 and its been 10 days since I started using it, most of the time it has given me more than 10 hours of screen on time and it fully charges in less than 40 minutes. The phone doesn't heat. It gets slightly warm in some occasions, I'm a normal user. (I'm getting 10+ hours of SoT because I have disabled 5G, always on display, fingerprint animation etc) I would request Rakesh bhaiya to review it. I'm fully satisfied with it. Its worth every penny

Google is mainly focused on software rather than hardware. Those problems can be fixed only with quality hardware. Google needs to switch to TSMC asap.

Google as usual takes a month or two to settle down. It'll be a great phone after price drops. I didn't face network or heating issues on my P8pro...on the similar lines of Geekyranjit. Btw, the current gen cloud generative AI takes time but probably avg user wouldn't know and naturally would expect it to be much faster/seamless. The thing is, new photos app is slightly slow and buggy lately after the update and what you mentioned about portrait mode is so damn true considering my budget Pixel 6a had better edge detection. Looks like it'll be fixed via ota. Benchmarking on Tensor is dicey as AI TPU cores are completely excluded. Nonetheless, this phone isn't for heavy gamers. Higher pricing is the only major con tbh. And I do think SD8gen2 is a better soc apart from AI but then Google needs Tensor to compete with Apple.... especially considering Google is at G3 and Apple is at A17. Regardless, Tensor G3 has enough power for 99% of users. Considering Android 14 and Tensor G3 are both new, Google will take till December to settle down. I hope that you can send feedback to Google regarding portrait mode edge detection as it's a well known issue. Cheers 🥂

i mean we buy a flagshipo so that we dont get to wait , that tasks are superfast. with this 8 pro you have to wait for every AI feature to work, which personally ruins the experience in my opinion. i would personally choose the s23 ultra or the 15 pro max. i just feel they are a better rounded phone .

I used Pixel 4a and there was an immense heating problem while shooting outdoors specially. It still didn't resolve years later with this so over-priced phone. Hope they fix it soon
No chance, I am still suffering from it and I complaint so many times. Now instead of b2x, F1 solution is there new partner. Very pathetic service and now they are saying since mobile last updated was sep 2023 so they can't help it. F1 solution charged 10k for display for Solving the heating issue. 😅. I sent legal notice to F1, b2x and Google banglore office. Now let's see. Other than the heating issue the phone is ok. But in the Mumbai-like area it's a very pathetic phone.
I have used pixel since a long time. It's not the device which will be optimised for you from the first day.Rakesh, turn on Adaptive battery and Adaptive charging and then use it for a day or 2. It will optimise the device according to you and you will just love it and there will be less heating. I am not saying no heating. The heating issue will be reduced very much.
I'm using pixel 6a. And I can confirm the issues that you have found exists in my pixel phone too... Actually in all pixel line up 1. Switching 5g to 4g 2. Bad edge detection in portrait mode 3. Heating Otherwise I really love the pixel experience. Just wish Google gets rid of such trashy Exynos processors
I also faced heating issue with pixel 6a while using mobile data and hotspot, to the point where my screen popped out. I have been told that after upgrading to android 14 there has been massive improvement in heating issues. Have you faced heating even after upgrading to Android 14?

The wifi reception is just pathetic, it gets automatically disconnected when a oneplus nord ce3 phone kept in the same room is consistently connected to it. The fingerprint scanner still does not accept my fingerprint almost 50% of the time. The phone gets overheated after using google maps for more than 10 mins. Worst decision of my life to buy a pixel phone
This 5g to 4g and vice versa thing is also due to heating, when the pixel heats a little bit , it goes to 4g to control heat. This can be fixed using net monster or force lte app and setting it to nr only.
@@sanjuali3096 , I am using pixel 6a and at my home location I get good 5g signals, so all the time phone is in 5g. Whenever I get calls it automatically switches to 4g and after ending call it switches back to 5g in few seconds.
My pixel 6a does not switch from 5g to 4g , in normal usage /social media, youtube it does not heats up. But as soon as I start downloading big files 2-3 GBs , it starts heating alot, I can feel 60C plus heat in my palm but still it stays in 5G. This switch issue could be in new phones 8 and 8pro only, which may get update in future
Two different budget and two different types. Pixel is solely focused for camera, software experience, haptics and those pictures specific features. Not for gaming and videography for long time. If you're okay with those heating issue then definitely go for pixel. Op is a balanced phone. Software support is also the 2nd best right after pixel. You can also game on it.
I have been using OnePlus as my current and previous phone. With good reviews of OP11, that was my choice for next, however, since pixel seemed unique, hence asked. But 98k doesn't make sense, could easily get last generation Samsung or iPhone 15. Hence, most likely will go for OP11 on my next visit to Dubai 🙏🏻

Edge AI is a concept that I am sure Google is planning to get onboard pixel phones. This is particularly important given the exynos processors (rebranded as tensor) is particularly built for machine learning. So localised ai might come soon.

Google's going to have to abandon Samsung for their Tensor chips and switch to TSMC in order to solve the heating issues. Sadly, that's not going to happen until 2025. Probably in time for Pixel 10(X?) or who knows what they end up calling it. Sticking with something like a SD 8 Gen 2 would've done wonders for this phone.
I don't know why but i miss Nokia & i think their Stock Android implementation is 2nd Best After the Pixel. & BETTER THAN MOTOROLA, with Premium design.

I'm using pixel 7 pro 256gb, since almost a year now, i feel charging speed is too slow, although software experience and camera is great but the same consumes a lot of battery, which overall ruins the use experience . Hence i would be a bit hesitant recommending a pixel device. @googlepixel needs to do a lot more battery optimisation, it never felt like a 5k battery device. 🤦🏻

A smartphone costing more than 1 lakh and having heating issues, no fast charging option, only 128 storage option is just not done.
I have OnePlus Nord CE3 12/256 and its been 10 days since I started using it, most of the time it has given me more than 10 hours of screen on time and it fully charges in less than 40 minutes. The phone doesn't heat. It gets slightly warm in some occasions, I'm a normal user.
(I'm getting 10+ hours of SoT because I have disabled 5G, always on display, fingerprint animation etc)

Google is mainly focused on software rather than hardware. Those problems can be fixed only with quality hardware. Google needs to switch to TSMC asap.

Google as usual takes a month or two to settle down. It'll be a great phone after price drops. I didn't face network or heating issues on my P8pro...on the similar lines of Geekyranjit.
Btw, the current gen cloud generative AI takes time but probably avg user wouldn't know and naturally would expect it to be much faster/seamless. The thing is, new photos app is slightly slow and buggy lately after the update and what you mentioned about portrait mode is so damn true considering my budget Pixel 6a had better edge detection. Looks like it'll be fixed via ota.
Benchmarking on Tensor is dicey as AI TPU cores are completely excluded. Nonetheless, this phone isn't for heavy gamers.
Higher pricing is the only major con tbh.

@@GyanTherapy Good review bro. Google needs to fix it's stuff prior to release as reviewers like you or mrwhosetheboss have faced some bugs.
And I do think SD8gen2 is a better soc apart from AI but then Google needs Tensor to compete with Apple.... especially considering Google is at G3 and Apple is at A17.
Regardless, Tensor G3 has enough power for 99% of users. Considering Android 14 and Tensor G3 are both new, Google will take till December to settle down.
I hope that you can send feedback to Google regarding portrait mode edge detection as it's a well known issue.

i mean we buy a flagshipo so that we dont get to wait , that tasks are superfast. with this 8 pro you have to wait for every AI feature to work, which personally ruins the experience in my opinion. i would personally choose the s23 ultra or the 15 pro max. i just feel they are a better rounded phone .

I used Pixel 4a and there was an immense heating problem while shooting outdoors specially. It still didn't resolve years later with this so over-priced phone. Hope they fix it soon
No chance, I am still suffering from it and I complaint so many times. Now instead of b2x, F1 solution is there new partner. Very pathetic service and now they are saying since mobile last updated was sep 2023 so they can't help it. F1 solution charged 10k for display for Solving the heating issue. 😅. I sent legal notice to F1, b2x and Google banglore office. Now let's see. Other than the heating issue the phone is ok. But in the Mumbai-like area it's a very pathetic phone.
I have used pixel since a long time. It's not the device which will be optimised for you from the first day.Rakesh, turn on Adaptive battery and Adaptive charging and then use it for a day or 2. It will optimise the device according to you and you will just love it and there will be less heating. I am not saying no heating. The heating issue will be reduced very much.

And I can confirm the issues that you have found exists in my pixel phone too... Actually in all pixel line up
1. Switching 5g to 4g
2. Bad edge detection in portrait mode
3. Heating
Otherwise I really love the pixel experience. Just wish Google gets rid of such trashy Exynos processors
I also faced heating issue with pixel 6a while using mobile data and hotspot, to the point where my screen popped out. I have been told that after upgrading to android 14 there has been massive improvement in heating issues. Have you faced heating even after upgrading to Android 14?
@@punpompur my phone is always on mobile data and hotspot. with that temp is okay. But after that even slight tasks making it warm. Just like watching YT, using WhatsApp or playing chess for around half an hour
Try to switch off adaptive connectivity , then it will not switch 5g to 4g overall

@@aviral.singhh Pixel 6a is just shit, regardless of the android version. I upgraded to android 14 and I'm still experiencing the same issues that were present with android 13. The wifi reception is just pathetic, it gets automatically disconnected when a oneplus nord ce3 phone kept in the same room is consistently connected to it. The fingerprint scanner still does not accept my fingerprint almost 50% of the time. The phone gets overheated after using google maps for more than 10 mins. Worst decision of my life to buy a pixel phone

This 5g to 4g and vice versa thing is also due to heating, when the pixel heats a little bit , it goes to 4g to control heat. This can be fixed using net monster or force lte app and setting it to nr only.
Then there will be no calls due to no lte bruh
@@sanjuali3096 , I am using pixel 6a and at my home location I get good 5g signals, so all the time phone is in 5g. Whenever I get calls it automatically switches to 4g and after ending call it switches back to 5g in few seconds.
My pixel 6a does not switch from 5g to 4g , in normal usage /social media, youtube it does not heats up. But as soon as I start downloading big files 2-3 GBs , it starts heating alot, I can feel 60C plus heat in my palm but still it stays in 5G. This switch issue could be in new phones 8 and 8pro only, which may get update in future

Two different budget and two different types. Pixel is solely focused for camera, software experience, haptics and those pictures specific features. Not for gaming and videography for long time. If you're okay with those heating issue then definitely go for pixel.
Op is a balanced phone. Software support is also the 2nd best right after pixel. You can also game on it.
I have been using OnePlus as my current and previous phone. With good reviews of OP11, that was my choice for next, however, since pixel seemed unique, hence asked. But 98k doesn't make sense, could easily get last generation Samsung or iPhone 15. Hence, most likely will go for OP11 on my next visit to Dubai 🙏🏻

Edge AI is a concept that I am sure Google is planning to get onboard pixel phones. This is particularly important given the exynos processors (rebranded as tensor) is particularly built for machine learning. So localised ai might come soon.

Google's going to have to abandon Samsung for their Tensor chips and switch to TSMC in order to solve the heating issues. Sadly, that's not going to happen until 2025. Probably in time for Pixel 10(X?) or who knows what they end up calling it.
Sticking with something like a SD 8 Gen 2 would've done wonders for this phone.

Realme's brand of TWS, Buds Air series was very popular, and still is. It brought ANC to budget market. 2-4 of my friends themselves use the same product as mine, Realme Buds Air 2. However I've been facing a problem which is that the left earbud often doesn't work. My friends face the same issue. We all just clean the connection pins and it starts working again. However for the last 6 months, my left earbud completely stopped taking any charge. When I googled it, I found a lot of people have been facing the same issue on realme support forums. So it's not an isolated issue. I humbly urge you to please look into this issue.

The problem with flagship phones which are not iphones and samsung are that people dont buy them like when did you see someone using the gt series or the pixel series, on the other hand you can see people using flagship phones of oneplus, samsung or apple, gt series phones have some of the best specs for its price, especially when gt 2 pro was around 26k last month, 8 gen 1, good camera, good battery, overall good phone for 26k but people dont bat an eye at these phones

I'm using pixel 7 pro 256gb, since almost a year now, i feel charging speed is too slow, although software experience and camera is great but the same consumes a lot of battery, which overall ruins the use experience . Hence i would be a bit hesitant recommending a pixel device.

I was going to but 6a ot 7 but after doing research i skip because of ( main reason there are others too like signal issue etc. ) Samsung provide chip to google until and unless they go with Snapdragon (TSMC ) made chipset than i think to buy but with current tensors chips big no they can't last long and not reliable might be smart but you can't solve hardware level issue by software
