A good and powerful pi detector would be the GFX 7000 and GDX 8000 both under a grand around 800 posted to UK and use the gpx 5000 and 6000 tech. The boost the output slightly to hit deeper targets than the gpx range and at the fraction of the cost you can't go wrong. I saw a gfx 7000 new one on gumtree and a crossbow on eBay. Hope this helps but also a good deep fast discrimination induction balence detector would be the Nexus Mk 2 as deep as any pulse with excellent iron I'd in all metal.
