Im moving from Finland for Bern in a month and my biggest worry was the food. Im very picky when it comes to food and im glad lidl has same products as in Finland.
Good prices for there,product wise its superb,way better then the UK Lidl..Good to see more competition in the space as COOP and Migros been controlling it for way to long...Good selection of swiss made,natural and action lines etc as well as the bulk sized items.,I'm genuinely impressed by this Lidl store in Bern..
I was expecting far higher prices i am quite stunned. honestly as someone from eastern Europe, I can tell we have similar prices in LIDL but or salaries are like 5x lower and even our taxes are a bit higher as I reckon... But I bet that prices of local services are a bit higher am I right ? Thanks for the insight by the way
Supermarkets in the Europe Union have started to all look the same no matter which country you're in. This is good, it should all be one country anyway that speaks English as English is neutral now since the UK left the EU.
