Thank you for making this video! I just got this kit as a birthday present and it came with the instruction manual in German, so this helps me a lot with figuring out what I need to do😅
Oh I'm so sorry for the inconvenience caused. If you need the electronic version manual, feel free to contact us via help@letsresin.com 🤗
Cool kit for beginners.
I bought your kit online thank you it was well put together!!!!
Thank you for the detailed information on how to cut off edges and even glaze with resin.
Yup! I'm hooked... seen molds and things on Temu which led me to ask Google about crafting with resin.. Hahaha I've spent ythe last 2 hours watching these amazing ideas! 👏 right now, where's that starter kit! 😊
Hi Amanda, glad you like our content. We do not sell on Temu but Amazon store and our website. The links are in the description box, check it if you're interested in. 🥰
Im excited to try this out!
Good afternoon,
Please make a mold for a tray deep enough for lights that can be a name plate. Also a mold for ponytail clips. They are attached with a clip that holds a rubber band. Thank you
Love the idea of these kits! Interesting concept. ☺
Good afternoon
Please make a mold about 12x3 for a lighted name plate. Also a mold for a clip for a ponytail that holds a rubber band. Thank you
i want to be able to make these for my family!
Just do it! :)
Beautiful Than 3verything 👌
Thanks
Just bought my kit! Can’t wait to give it a try
Thank you!! Hope you can have fun with it!
Amazing job with the resin projects and your very talented. Any recommendations if i want to get into doing this? Hope you have a fabulous day and week ahead. Thank you for creating such a great RUclips channel
Thank you!😊You could begin with the beginner kit and try to follow the tutorial step by step.💪💪
@@LETSRESIN Good Morning 🌄☕ and thank you so much for messaging me back. I will try the beginner kit and thank you for your advice. Hope you have a wonderful day. God Bless you and your family 🙏🏻😇
On the round mold after you sanded it what did you apply on it with the brush?
Great instruction. 👍
Thanks😊
Beautiful!
A slightly big criticism…I love your products and almost exclusively use them. But…and it’s an almighty big but…it’s great that you send new products to Influencers to put them through their paces and for us to see. Then the problem (at least here in the uk) it can take bloody months to buy the product!!! I waited almost a year for the thermocolour mica colours…it’s been a good 6 months for the coloured uv resins to arrive…I’d almost forgotten. About them! Now your eco pour resin is doing the rounds and can I buy it? Can. I heck as like, it’s really not on…yes give the RUclipsrs the products to try but make sure us normal artists can buy it straightaway. Grumble over.
Really cool
Thank you so much!
Yea were gonna need an updated video this one is all over the place
So pretty. Can I use a uv light to make it dry/cure faster?
Yes sure, you can use UV resin and the glitter and dried flowers, but be aware that the UV resin won't cure if you add epoxy resin dye/pigment in it
I am confused, please tell me the best products to use for tumblers, for jewelry, for candle cups, and large figurine pours.
Should I add a light layer of Vaseline on the molds before pouring so I can use them more than once I'm doing something with my grandma's funeral flowers and don't want to cut into the molds?
Yes, it would be feasible.
Why would you cut into the molds? They are reusable… you can use mold release on them if you think it needs it. I have never had to use a releasing agent on any of their molds before,,,
When you sanded down the rough edge on the sphere did you then coat it with resin with a paint brush?
Hi , are you not doing your starter kits anymore , tried to buy the one you were working with from amazon and is says not available ?
Also what about UV light? (For curing)
This kit is suited for UV resin either, you can definitely use UV light for curing when you use UV resin. But if you use epoxy resin, the UV light is useless cuz there is no way to accelerate the curing process of epoxy resin, just leave it for like 12-24H (time depends on the resin quality and your room environment)
Was the colouring included in the package? Or do you need to buy your own? ☺️
Hi, the resin dye/pigment is not included in this kit, but you can always find kinds of colouring material under $7 in our Amazon store :)
Do you let a layer dry and harden before adding another layer on top?
Yes! Please make sure the former layer is fully cured before you pour another layer.
So it takes at most 24 hrs for the resin to set before putting on more resin?
No! they absolutely fail miserably to give good, clear instructions and information.... then don't answers questions. There are different ways to layer this epoxy resin, because it is the crappy kind that only allows you to make each layer 1/4" thick, or it can and will get screwed up. I 1st started out with this resin and you can pour a layer and wait 3-5 hours.... check to see it the resin is sticky. If it is sticky but firm, you can pour another layer. It all depends on your environment of how long it will be.... in my studio, it's always about 3 hours. If you pour a layer and wait 24 hours and it cures hard.... you must scuff, scratch or sand the top of that layer.... to adhere the new layer properly. If not, tje layers can seperate or split. Just do your self a favor and get good resin that allows you to use more than a 1/4" thick layer at a time! This resin is good for stupid little, paper thin key chains and earrings. Have a good one mate 👍
So should I not buy a kit?
@@jarineesingjirakul3721 you can it just requires more detailed instructions but it's a great kit!
I use a convention over. Pour first layer of let it cure for about 5 -8 mins to get a little solid and then pour your next layer( repeat again).. I don't do 24 hrs. I'm still new to it. When I'm doing my resin project I cure it for about 2 to 3 hrs ( temp on 150) let it cool after curing for about 30mins room temp before demolding
Can you make clear resin diamond that looks like a real diamond
I think maybe you can use our super clear resin for the diamond to imitate the apperance, it's clear but at some point the real diamond is holding higher quality that you can catch with just your eyes, so, good luck!
What does 8-24th mean??
If we wait till-24 hours, how can we tell when it’s ok to unmold?
Normally, it can be demolded after 24 hours. Or you could try to use a stir stick poke the surface and see if it is sticky.
@let'sresin in this video you mix by weight using scales but your instructions with the resin say to mix by volume. Does mixing by weight using digital scales work ok? Thanks
Hey Jamie thank you for your comment. The resin of our brand has been upgraded so now we mix the 2 parts by volume. 😊
Hey I had a question, when making a resin mold what does it mean by pouring a 1:1 ratio.
For our resin kit, that means you need the same volume of Part A and Part B. For example, 100ml Part A with 100ml Part B.
I noticed you mixed the two parts by weight. Will this give you the same result as measuring out by volume? The starter kit I got says to measure by volume but I would much rather measure by weight. Thanks!
The formula of our resin was updated and we recommend meaururing by volume currently. 🥰
I’m looking to do bigger projects with larger moles, can you recommend a resin that will do larger projects
Hi you could pour in layers for larger projects with the 1:1 epoxy resin. Or a 2:1 deep pour is recommended.
Hey can we cast artificial flowers in resin projects?
Yes it works for artificial flowers, we made an artificial flowers table, you can check our video "Resin Art Tutorial | Amazing Table of Flowers and Epoxy"
@@LETSRESIN ok thanks for your response
I tried ordering your epoxy from Amazon and the date kept being changed for delivery ended up taking a week which was the last date last shown on my orders. It never came I called and canceled order. Such a darn shame. I in turn order Pro Marine and I hate it. It has micro bubbles in it I don't have time to babysit a mold that long. So i ordered Amazing clear cast. I love working with epoxy just haven't found one I like.
we are sorry about that! we cannot control the shipment, it's arranged by Amazon. Hope you can have fun with resin art!
@@LETSRESIN I understand that, that's not why I posted. I heard it was good I just never got a chance to see for myself.
Do you need to wear a mask when working with resin?
Yes we suggest you wear a mask when working with resin and in a well-ventilated space🥰
How long does it take to dry?
With Let's Resin Epoxy, it usually takes 12h, but in cold season it will be a little longer
🙏🏼
How is this different from all the resins?
One quick question. So I have to wait for 24hrs to set the resin and only then I can pour another layer of resin if I wanted to make different layers of colors and glitters
At least wait until the former layer is all set.😉
You can usually add a second layer in 4-8 hours… that’s a soft set…
I've ordered 2 gallons of your resin. On the amazon description it says that it is a cast resin as well and you can pour river tables. However, when i've open the package from you I found a leaflet where is says to pour 200 grams at once...i'm a bit confused now...
I'm about to pour into a shape that is 3.5 centimeters deep (a table)
So can I use it for deep pours or not?
Hi, thanks for reaching out, please feel free to email our customer support email: support@letsresin.com , we have dedicated staff to solve your questions :)
#letsresin So let me get this straight .. a customer has spent money on your products , asked a legitimate question, and the customer needs to contact a "special support" person for an answer/reply. I was going to purchase your product after reading great reviews, but Im not too sure now. Novices/begginers like my self need advice , tips, ideas, suggestions, and answers. What better place to respond to your customers than here. Hmm 🤔
@@raymueller1155Hi mate! You are actually right...
I needed an answer right away, but you see what answer I've received. I worked with epoxy for years so I had to go ahead with the project as I was in the middle of it. Came out well. So the reisin is one if the good ones.
However the description is for beginners...that is why it is confusing (this is what they told me on the email 3 weeks after I contacted them)
They've also recommended another product to finalize my project, which is nice of them, but that product is not available ever since. Just checked again today as I was making a epoxy stool for my son's table...
So they aren't too helpful at all but the resin is decent
Hope this helps
We're can I get the kit
The links to our Amazon store and website are in the description, our brand name is Let's Resin 🥰
How many of these kinds of molds will a set of this resin fill?
It's 16 oz resin and enough to cover four molds in this kit.
I also love to learn how to make it, but I don't know the names of the chemical ingredients that go into it
Check the link in the description box. The liquid is epoxy resin.😊
Can’t open Amazon from srilanka 😢
What is the price of this kit?
😊👍
🥰
Is this kit still available to purchase? Nevermind, found it
Thanks for your support🥰
When covering the sanded down part with resin again how long does it take to dry? And will it get rid of that line ?
After sanding the line off, you will need to continue sanding and polishing all the way around or you can just apply a very thin coat of resin all the way around the entire sphere or use UV resin.,,, personally, I can’t stand those two part sphere's… you are better off getting a comp, eye sphere mold that does t come in two halves like that one does…😊
Instead of waiting 8-24hrs couldn't you just use a UV lamp or sunlight?
We're using epoxy resin so the UV light is useless, 8-24h is actually the normal curing time for regular epoxy resin.🥰
@@LETSRESIN thank you so much

It looked better before you sanded the sphere tbh.

Thanks for your suggestion. We will improve it in the upcoming videos.🤗
Great, a set to create environmentally harmful plastic scrap!
I received this kit and I’m not impressed. No instructions and your video is all over the place. I would assume when you made the blue mixture it was with transparent liquid, which was not in the kit? Again not impressed.
Hi there, I'm so sorry to hear about that. If you need the electronic version manual, please feel free to contact us via help@letsresin.com 🤗
And I would like to clarify that the blue ink indeed not included in this kit, we just want to add the color to show more possibility for the final result. Again apologize for mixing you. 🥲
