The traveling part is so true. I work at a Marriott as a security guard and all of the black guests that checkin into our hotel are always super annoying and super ghetto. It just feels like they all just took money from their 401ks for their vacation money when they should all be home investing instead. @@American_King I have often wondered why wealthy black NBA players do not create businesses such as big grocery stores, malls, or banks, and hire black workers to help the communities where they were raised. I thought it might be due to restrictions in their contracts, or perhaps they are unable to talk about it. It seems like wealthy black individuals are hesitant to do things exclusively for the black community.
They do and they get sued for not being inclusive toward other minorities but other groups have start ups and lock us out and we don’t sue for something obviously designed for them all facts

I'm going to ask a rhetorical question: why aren't the histories of successful black american businesses and people being taught in schools? Alonzo Herndon, Madame C.J. Walker, A G. Gaston, Reginald Lewis, and many many others. How black wall street and other prosperous areas became that way, and how it can be repeated today. I didn't learn about any of these people in school. I discovered them on my own and that is one of the real failures of the education system. Fact is, the education system really doesn't teach about successful businesspeople of any race. I think the answer to this question is obvious.

Black people are not being wiped out. The Black ethnicity demographic has a culture that doesn’t look exactly like “white” ethnicity demographic culture. But we are doing well. We do need to invest in our markets more and more rather than consume. I believe that’s due to a widespread belief that wealth is a plot of land. The other issue is social and cultural. We know how we’re treated. That leads to consumption now rather than delayed gratification from investing

A study I saw a while ago showed that the average Western European start their life with an inherited amount of $100k. They get this in either homes, businesses, stocks, cash ect…… leaving wealth to multiple generations in inheritance is a big part of Western Europe culture. Even in marriages, wealth transfer in dowries is taken into considerations. Imagine starting your life with 100k asset……you will be way ahead and if you are smart enough, will leave more to your children and grandchildren.

My dad always told us to make sure you never let someone back you into a corner. Save, save, save and own land is what he always hit home hard with us. He told to us to get an education in medicine because you have zero chance in business. Those were conversations he had with us in the 80’s. We all bought real estate and saved and invested and all of us went into medicine from a pharmacist, technologists, and a physician. Fast forward 35 years and company leadership looks just like it did in the 80’s. Albeit, with more white women in leadership than in the 80’s. Who would have thought, from house wives to COO, CEO’s and VPs of companies. Btw, I am not disparaging white women. If all things were equal then the numbers statistically would have been skewed between white female professionals and black educated professionals. How correct my dad was and I’m glad we all listed to him. All of us have net worth in the millions because our dad drilled into our heads that you will work harder and be smarter than most just to be seen as average in America. I see not much has changed after all these years.
I love your Dad my Dad didn't have much but he always told us the same thing. I became a RN which helped alot but went back and got my doctorate as a NP best decision ever. I bought land near my daddy's property and 2 investment homes and put a modern trailer on the land. Paid for trailer in cash. Now I'm 50, my daughter is 24 I put her name on everything she goes through the process as well with credit check, income from job and I make her put at least a couple of thousand in my projects as it's her legacy and she will benefit from it more than me in the next 20 years. I paid off my primary home during the pandemic I worked New York and got out of debt in 1 year from pandemic pay I had tunnel vision. My daughter is in PA school and we about to do our thing with a medical practice of our own, I'm tired been in the field since 1997. So I next big investment prayerfully in 2025 is a medical practice..I also teach her not to get on that "Feminist" bandwagon it has destroyed our black women. Independent yes but not to the point you don't think you benefit without a husband (of course high value one) but God says two is better than one. Feminist was made for white women but it's destroying black women :(
