I have bought the pilot metropolitan M nib and it is not working smoothly as every youtuber say in the review.I feel it scratchy sometimes and when I use it on my dairy which has thick and high quality paper,it writes as it is a Japanese Fine nib but when I use it on regular paper it writes as a Japanese medium nib....is there any manufacturing defect or ink is wrong?BTW I use camlin fountain pen ink cause my dad says inks cannot be costlier you cannot use that Parker,Pilot or lamy ink..so tell me your suggestion.
Of you have bought it from amazon than quality is not an issue . Acoording to me the main issue is ink camlin ins are really cheap and i would not advice to use them . Use some good quality inks after cleaning the pen ( just use plain water to clean do not force or bend any part - watch a yt video for same) I personally use pilot blue and havent faved any issue yet.
I own Hauser checkers, there is problem in it. if you put little bit vertical pressure to draw a line it leads go inside. So i even problem found in few Faber castle pencil also. so I request whenever you review non cushion point please make sure you check it with little vertical pressure. as to draw line we have to put vertical pressure 😊
