John from Grain Man here! Thanks for your lovely comments about my stall and products. I’m so glad you like the box and valet tray, great to see them so beautifully featured in your vlog. Have a great Christmas and best of luck with the channel
Hey John thanks for watching - when Jane gave me the gift I wished we had filmed an interview with you as such an interesting story …. Maybe next time thanks for watching and comment
Nice video again fellow autocampers. Oh, and thanks for sparing us footage of the toilet tent actually being used...not sure RUclips's quite ready for that yet lol.
Awww that brings back memories!..... We went there 3 Boxing Days ago. Our old MH, Steve's alternator fell off. We had to call the RAC who sent a great big truck. Steve had to be loaded on to the back of the truck in that car park. We got taken back to the campsite. It was very embarrassing! 😂🤣😅 We agree... travelling is deffo all part of the fun! That looks a lovely market! I agree, buying lots of food....It has to be done!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing! Take care! Ju Xx
Wow we are blown away to see our little camp site and town in another GG fabulous vlog thank you so much for sharing your travels and thrilled to hear you are already making plans for your next visit. Clun castle has now been added to our list of trips out you may want to check out Snodhill Castle. Dad will be chuffed to bits with it. All best wishes to you both Lynda
Loved this. We will make it to Hay on Wye one day. It looks beautiful. We really enjoyed Clun though, what a pretty village and incredible castle. Loved your drone shots! The pop up loo tent was impressive! Those tents are so great to get out, getting the buggers back in the bag though!!! 😡 😠 🤣
Hey - first a most importantly thankyou for commenting as we love the feedback …. Both places are quaint …. The tent is definitely on the shall we keep it list but actually worked well on this visit
Thanks for sharing Clun Castle, we have added it to our map of places to visit. The market at Hay-on-Wye looked great and we liked your choice of savoury tart and dessert 😋 Enjoyed your choice of music in this episode. Look forward to watching part 2 😀
Well for us it’s so convenient and although no toilet block it makes no difference to us try going Wednesday night as the Thursday market if on is great ….thanks for watching and happy travels
Hi you guys, that was a great tour around the town and we especially loved the market with all that wonderful fare, it had our mouth watering, and the cheese looked fantastic 😋
I enjoyed that stop off at Clun Castle, beautiful drone footage and the meander around Hay On Wye. You have to love a market mooch don’t you and the food looked delicious 😋
Well the food market and the great weather is always a great combination - a good mix. Clun was a pretty little stop off and the cafe we filmed looked interesting - thanks for watching and hope you are well
We tried to get to Clun the other night and the satnav sent us somewhere we couldn't get down and then had to reverse out onto the road, it was a nightmare as it was pitch black and cars parked on left and right. And we didn't know if we could get over the bridge to the car park so we left. So glad you posted this as we now know we can actually get to the car park! We've been to Hay on Wye a couple of times and never knew it had a castle as we tend to walk to the river and walk along there. So thanks for that one too lol. Definitely need to get back. A very enjoyable vlog.
The Castle for many years recently has been in very poor repair there has been a major overhaul over the last few years and they are hoping to open it in April, covid & supplies allowing . We were lucky enough to have a sneak preview of it a few weeks ago the viewing gallery at the top is fantastic and the views amazing so hopefully you will be able to enjoy if you do visit Hay again.
Now that sounds like an adventure - getting over that bridge you should be able to do but only if you breathe in lol … there is a bigger car park than the one we stayed in. Hay definitely worth a stop and the castle should open soon as we haven’t gone in yet
@@getawaygeese it was awful honestly and we wasn't recording. Probably good job with all the language. We have our dimensions in the satnav too lol. Needs going in the bin!😁
I like this video also, stew: what a nice shot with the drone in that ruin, good job!! Jane, I like your voice overs, your English is pleasant to listen, too bad you guys film only the very nice surroundings but didn't film yourself Great job of all the editing as well!!
Jane will love that feedback - do much better than my voice - Jane I’d often behind the camera up to now as doesn’t want to be filmed BUT in the next video she starts to get a bit more confident. We are starting to film ourselves more going forward so a good observation by you
@@getawaygeese i am looking forward te see the next episode, we do mostly do cooperate when we do the voice overs in our content . I try to improve my English, so that is one of my reasons to watch English YT content, especially when it gets my intrest, like van live
Ah that was great. Lovely to see these places properly as we’ve only driven through them. I’ve just bought Stokesay Castle Christmas cards! Will look forward to the next one. Take care both x
Hi Stew & Jane, Great video, love the shots of the castle, they are always so professional. We finally got our AutoCampers camper van the other week and are really thrilled with it. It’s pretty much the same as yours with a couple of variations. We have no idea what to call our new travelling companion, but I’m sure something will come. Hoping to get on the road soon and try everything out, but with the last storm and another on the way we will probably leave it until the new year now. Anyway we just want to say a BIG THANK YOU for sharing your videos and your reviews, as it was instrumental in our decision making as to the van we went for. We were wondering how you get on with your sink and hob now that you have changed it. All the best and happy travels Sarah & Linda
Hey how exciting and thanks for commenting. We just had a few days wild camping and loved it even in the rain. I would encourage you try it and just go to a site on hard standing - don’t fill up water due to potential to freeze - just go try trust me it’s fun Re job and sink we love it and a good change for us. Better to keep clean and just looks smarter. The lids act as a splash back so protects the curtain so many pluses for us but you only find this out as you use it. I think either is fine etc
I'm really enjoying your videos and this reminded me of a trip I made to Hay a couple of years ago with my daughter. I've just got a camper van and looking forward to some adventures - I'll definitely check out this camp-site. Could you post a link? Thanks
So this is about where you want to spend your time so it’s around 50 quid a year and we just go on the CL sites like dark orchard as we prefer the small sites … we have got our monies worth as it’s access. To be honest maybe worth contacting the owners to see if that is mandatory as it may not be …
Hi! Really enjoy all of your videos! A quick question if I may? We've got an Auto Campers Leisure Van on order and have noticed that they now can be specified with a Lithium Leisure battery. We're considering going for this option but would like to know how you get on with your leisure battery when camping without mains hook up? Do you find it does the job sufficiently etc.? Thanks very much! Looking forward to the next video!
My advice is go lithium it will cost more I suspect but we have just upgraded to lithium as it will give us a longer off grid capability also go for a dc to dc charger as this will improve charge efficiency . I have a video to produce showing the upgrades … my advice obviously lol - exciting times and many thanks for watching
